Tyra's Stylist Yaniece Says: Time to get inspired!!!!! I know you're wondering why I'm talking about spring trends when some places in the country are still experiencing cold weather. Well, for one thing, the styles are already in stores and if you snooze you'll definitely lose out on some of the hottest trends of the season. So here are my top fashionable picks:
Do the ruffle thing. Lots of texture – rosettes, and rows and rows of ruffles. It's feminine and modern when paired with a monochromatic silhouette.
Take a trip to the moon and go space age. Mix silver with bronze and bring back glam rock!!!
Get Pro-active and rock a sporty look. Embrace the jock inside with racing stripes and bright techno fabrics paired with leggings.
Don't be afraid of prints. Dresses this spring get graphic, featuring tribal, psychedelic and bold patterns. Size matters and the print is all over the dress, available in mini to ankle length. You can even go floral, from tiny wildflowers prints to 3-D....we're talking flower power.
The biggest trend this season is definitely headgear - scarves, urban turbans, metallic and crocheted caps and more. Hats are at the top of the trend list for spring 2007.

Hey Tyra,
Let me first start off and say that you are an amazing woman and that I'm so inspired by you. When I watch you show you make me feel that I can take the world by the balls. so I thank you. However I'm writing to you because I am a single mother of three who want to enter the world of beauty. Everyday when I watch your show I can;t wait to see what outfit you'll have on or how your hair is going to look and last but not least how is make-up going to co-inside with your attire. Well to make a long story short I was wondering if you could or maybe your fabulous glam-squad could inform me on how to go about choosing this for a career of mine.. This is something that I've always enjoyed doing my entitre life but, did not know how to go about persuing it. Although I would love to go to school for this I can not financially afford to go. Again if I could maybe just ask your glam- squad to teach me just alittle more then what i know already I would so greatful to you for years to come and just think maybe I could be your make-up artist one day. i am part greek and have always had a burning desire for as long as i can remember to go to greece and see family that ive never met..my parents can't afford to fly our family up there because of our tight budget i just thought id share my dream with you and maybe it could come true...AND I LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!
