Let me first start off and say that you are an amazing woman and that I'm so inspired by you. When I watch you show you make me feel that I can take the world by the balls. so I thank you. However I'm writing to you because I am a single mother of three who want to enter the world of beauty. Everyday when I watch your show I can;t wait to see what outfit you'll have on or how your hair is going to look and last but not least how is make-up going to co-inside with your attire. Well to make a long story short I was wondering if you could or maybe your fabulous glam-squad could inform me on how to go about choosing this for a career of mine.. Well today I took time to write you, because I wanted you to know that I have a 6 year old daugher her name is Aaliyah and she's one of your biggest fans. Let me tell you she has your cat walk down she tunes in faithfully to watch America's Next Top Model. And at 6yrs old her dream is to become a next model, I hope one day you decide to do show on little girls not teenagers who wants to become a model I would love for you to meet my daugher she is very bright, and she loves her some Tyra. i do not intend to be rude or disrespctful to anayone involved. in my opinion and for my taste, i think tyra's hair style and wardrobe on her show are not only boring but also entirely out of zeitgeist [fashion, l'air du temps]. it looks catalog!

Oh! one question why is it so that the girls viaing for the Top Model at some point or the other have to be naked in there pose for photo, why does that have to be a task? that is my dislike so far about that casting. Hey ok this is whats up, hopefully you can help, I'm a visual merchandiser in retail and always wanted to be a fashion stylist on tv working on Soaps in NYC, but it's hard getting your foot in the door for that full time gig, I have a portfolio and telant to back it up.

I have a problem. I had a son 9 months ago and I still can't loose the 30 pounds I gained. My problem is that I can't find close to fit me. I don't know how to dress myself. I see women larger than me that are dressed really nice and up to date and I wonder "where did they buy that" I'm a size 10 on my booty but I have to buy a size 12 because of my tummy. I get depressed because I finally have the money to buy clothes but I don't know how to pick it. What do I do???

firstable i apollagize if my spelling is not that great i can defend my self with my english when i talk but sometimes is kind of hard for me to wright it when i try to express my self in a sertain way!!!!
2nd i love all your shows Top Model and the Tyra show love them both they are B-E-A-U=TIFULL i love the fashion.
Now before i get to bore you and keep on blabing and blabing cuz i tend to do that... my deal is my momma is actually my stylist since thats her profesion but i dont like to be on top of her all the time and filling up her free time to her own on my hair so when i die my hair and blow dry it how can i get it to look super straight and super shiny cause i also use a hair iron and some glossing polish from "Proclaim" but i still dont get it to look sshiny and smooth as i would like it to,like that super star celebrity look! so how can i achieve that?

P.S= thanx for the episode in Top Model of how to get a perfect smoky eye i used to do it before but it didnt came out so preatty and the funny thing is that when i first saw a smoky eye was when my mom gave me permision to wear make up and i saw it on a beautifull girl that haded a pair of beautyfull green eyes that looked even more beautyfull with a smoky eye and when i read the article it said in big letters Tyra Banks and then the rest of the topic so in other words you were my first inspiration to make up and since then i have loved it so0 after the episode on Top model one eye came ok and the wright eye came out perfect.

ive alwayz had a dream to act and model so i signed up to barbazon and hey invited me to a open show the were having to lok for models.i went and i was happy becuase i was telling my self wow what would happen if i really got picked to model?
next thing u know i had a talk with a lady and she said well be calling you to tell u if your in..i got a call a few days later and she said arileen we would lik eyou to model for us...i was so excited that i called my mom and my friends..then the lady told me that if i wanted to model i had to pay about 3 thousand dollars.that got me sad cuz i knew my parents werent going to be able to pay for it.thats hen i thought my dream went to the drain. but i still go on line and look to see if i can find anything.becuse i think that if a model agency wants u to model for them you shouldnt be paying them...what do u think tyra???

I came back to the states from being stationed in Germany. The water over there ruined my hair so I was forced to cut it all off ad start from scratch. It is at that stage where I don't know what to do with it. What are some great and easy looks for African American women with short and coarse hair?
