MESSAGE FROM TYRA: I come out of retirement for a special occasion!
Hi y'all,
So remember when I said I loved my hair from the Clive Davis party but I had nowhere to go? Well, I called my buddy and she was on her way to the Los Angeles Flea Market, so I went with her. I looked so funny at the flea market with my award show hair and UGG type Timberland boots on.
Oh well, I loved my hair and I didn't want it to go to waste so there I was at the Flea market, looking kinda crazy, but FIERCE!!!!!
On my way home from the flea market, I kept wishing I could teleport myself to a place suitable for my hair. I wish I could be the character Hiro from my favorite show “HEROES” and just blink my eyes and end up somewhere fabulous. I needed some place where my hair could blend-in and mingle with other fierce and fabulous hair. I wish I could've worn that hair to a hot New York City fashion show. You know, like the ones they have during New York fashion week. I have long retired from walking the runway, but I could see me now, sitting in the front row, tappin’ my foot to the beat of the music and loving my hair. My hair would be so fierce, it would have its own runway walk. Yes! My slicked back 'do would be perfect there.
So check this out y'all:
I got inspired to do a fashion show on The Tyra Show!! A super sexy show that would introduce you all to new and upcoming designers. I personally hand picked five of the hottest designers and brought them to The Tyra Show to create one of the hottest fashion shows of the year. It's not like the typical daytime TV fashion shows where the designer sits next to the host and commentates on the outfits while corny music plays in the background. The fashion show we produce is like fashion week. And it's not just ONE fashion show. It's five fashion shows all in ONE hour!!!
I even had my stylist's assistant, Tina, audition to be the next big designer. She created a new men's look. Check out her new creation, I've attached a picture so you can see one of her ideas. She used my hair stylist Lawrence as her model. Now, although I love my girl Tina, this just wasn't going to work. Doesn't this look crazy!! Sorry girl. Maybe next year. Ok. I'll tell the truth. Tina didn't really think this look was hot. It was Lawrence's birthday, and she dressed him up as a BIG birthday present for fun, not for fashion.
So finally, after weeks of searching with my producing team, I found my designers. Combined, these five designers have celebrity fans that include Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera.
I'm giving you guys an exclusive invitation to the hottest fashion show on television. The runway shows in New York and Paris are super hard to get in to. The seats are reserved for fashion editors and big time celebrities. So, I'm taking down the velvet rope and inviting all of you to watch the action on The Tyra Show TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 21. You don't want to miss this.
During the show, my models literally face off as they stomp down the runway to the hottest urban beats, rocking the hottest designer clothes. Even I join in on the fun by switchin' up my look five times. I was so excited; I came out of retirement for a sec and even jumped into some booty shorts and worked the runway.
Plus, I'm bringing you all the energy and excitement of what happens backstage - the craziness of it all as the models get yelled at and have to quickly change for the next designer. My favorite part of the show is when I grab one of the model’s head and look her right in the eyes during a stare down choreographed runway challenge! She didn't see THAT coming. There are all types of fun surprises like that in this fashion show. I even have some celebrity friends of mine drop in ;)

just like to say i think its nice how your so down to earth! about how you dont care to say that you put extra honey on your popcorn or eat ribs ,put pictures from when you have just woke up, your bad breath and tell about your jerney through life.unlike other celebs.
you care about people and there opinians and want to help.
i think its great that being so famous dousnt affect who you are as a person or change you!

i realy like watching your shows,i dont know what channel they are on in england ,but i watch them on youtube all the time.there funny.im 13 and you always say modles are people you should look up to. . and i think alot of people look up to you including me!:) i love wathcing americas next top modle ,its great i watch it every monday.You are so pretty and such a good modle!and talk show host!
by the way i think your hair is really pretty n ill try to watch the show.

Hi Tyra, I think your hair looks great all the time. It funny how much our hair defines us. Maybe you could do a show on that sometime, people and thier hair lol. I suffer from thinning hair. I always wanted to have beautiful long hair, but when i was 13 I started to lose it. My mother wears a wig, and I am terrified that I will too someday. I have shaved my head bald 4 times to try to make it come in thicker.... trust me people this does not work!! Since I have this handicap in my life, I have become very aware of everyone else's hair. I believe this is why I never got asked to prom, and never had a boyfriend in highschool. It's sad to be so envious of such a silly thing... hair... but I guess when you don't have it, you're likely to want it. Well tyra, maybe you can do a show about hair, people who have it, and people who want it lol.

i think that your hair is fine the way it is and you are beautiful inside and out whether you are having the best hair in america or the worst hair in america. you look fine the way you are and there is no crime loving your hair.

I have always wanted to be a model but I kinda had to crush that dream when I had a baby. But I would really like to get some beauty tips from u if possible. Make-up, hair, etc. Everything your hair is always so nice so is your make-up and clothes. Whats the secret?? Fell me in!!!!!LOL
