I just turned "60" yers old in August. I work two jobs, office during the week and on the weekends a waitres in Betty & Nicks Bait and tTackle in Seaside Park, NJ. I would like the chance to be treated like a princess for one day in my life. To be able to be completly made over and dress ins ome really neat clothes. Is't not often that I can buy anything new. We are just trying to keep the mortgage payments on our house up to date and to pay off some credit card debt. I hope that maybe some day this could happen. I would like to have Miss Jay make me over, because I think she is just the most caring person in the world and tells everyone her own personal opions and sticks to it, no matter what.

Hi Tyra, My name is Chastity i am 15 years old. I think I need a makeover because as I was growing up I never thought anything good about myself. I've been called ugly so much that I soon believe it. I have messed up teeth that I wished could get fixed but my mother doesn't have enough money for it and I am not able to wear ear rings because I have keylords on my ears. And to get them remove it would cost over $2,000 dollars. So I really can't afford to get nothing. I often get tease about my short hair and that I am not able to get it done really. I am writing this because for my mother. My mother is such a beautiful person and has a beautiful spirit. My mother is always doing something for others she took care of my Grandmother until she passed the day after xmas 2005. Now raising my cousins daughter and my others cousins son. She has raised me and my 2 brothers also helping my brother raise his son who's mom was killed in a car accident. My mom is always putting off for things for herself. Now she has taken in my cousin who is 16yrs old with a her baby just so they wouldn't be in a foster home trying to raising them along with my 14yr old cousin, on her salary which isn't much but mananging with whats she makes. The reason I am writing is because my mother had such a beautiful smile and over the years putting off to do for others she hasn't been able to get the dental work she needs and when a person doesn't have such a great smile they don't smile and I am sure it messes with self esteem. I am looking for some help in getting her mouth fixed. I want her to smile again and feel good about herself. She won't date because of her smile and I tell her that she is who she is and that is a beautiful person. But thats no comfort. My mom hasn't dated in about 5 or six years. She pretends its okay but not really because of her smile. I have tried to contact several dentist to even work out a payment plan and no results she doesn't have the best dental insurance so without the best you can't get the best. I know you recieved numerous e-mails from women like myself desiring to have a makeover. From me it's more than a look..It's a fresh start! I'm a 30year old wife and mother of two(3 and 1). From the past two years I sacrificed my beauty needs to become a stay home mother. By that I mean I stay home to be another but we really couldn't afford it or seen any other way. If I would have continued to work my check would have went solely to day care. as a result of missing out of the beauty luxuries my hair has paid the price. I feel like in another year I will be Bald..My hair is extremely damaged for me trying to make due on my own..At this point, I wear a lot of wigs that are not appealing..I hate to sound vain but I'm thirty. hi and I don't even know if you could help me. I went to a dentist office to have my teeth fixed for the first time in my life.When I was twelve I had a accident on a bike and it broke one of my front teeth and I've never smiled again. My entire life I wanted a beautiful smile.
about 8 mo ago I went to a dentist and to finally have the repairs and at the dentist office the X-ray machine broke in haft and hit me in the face, now I have what they call atypical face pain and the muscles in my to lip were damaged .Today I can find no one who will help me because there is a law suit involved and I turned a way at every door being told there's nothing no one can do. I feel I'm in a loop of doctors that really want nothing to do with me because I was hunt in a doctors office. There was a recall on these machines and I feel the lawyer has been paid off to more or less brush me off to the side and leave me like this. I haven't kissed my husband in all most a year all I do is cry and pray that god will find a way. I know there is help I've seen it did but because of being hit in that doctors office everyone looks at my as if I'm not worth the time.im in pain all the time from the damages and the feeling I've lost all hope of feeling a woman. Can you help me change my life for the better and make my night mares go away I'll do anything ...
please I know you are not a miracle worker but in my heart I know you can help me ...plus I need to get the X-ray machine from harming others it is supposed to be recalled and has not. If it was a child it could have killed them. I have uttered the words I hate myself since I was 12yrs. old. I struggled with not having my mother or father around and this lead me to bulimia.I thought being thinner would make me attractive, but even as I lost weight I was unhappy and I actually showed less of my body.By the time I was in highschool I had turned into a different person, one who is ashamed of her body and who would wear two black hoodies everyday even in the summer.As my self- esteem shrunk and anorexia kicked in I hated myself more. After suicide attempts and some hospital stays I was ready to get better.I got married at 18 and thought I was now better, but I proved that a man can't erase your problems. My esteem is still gone and seems to get worse as the years go by. Tyra I know I still don't know you, but back when you were still modeling I didn't like you.I thought you were bogie and phony, but again you can't make quick judgements.The first time I watched your show I honestly fell in love with your spirit.I could not belive that this was tyra banks as real as a non celeberty I appreciate you and I pray that your blessing continue to inspire and motivate other young and old women all over.I know that you keep it real and maybe if I got to meet you, you could give me a REAL opion if I am pretty.I would love to have one day where I look beautiful because I don't own any makeup and I never had a wedding or honey moon and I have been married 3 years Sept.4. First of all let me say that you are the BOMB, and I LOVE your show!!!

I have been unhappy with myself for a long time but I hide it well! Others may think that I have so much confidence but it is truly the opposite, I am not happy with myself at all, I have so many flaws that I want to fix first of all I HATE my tummy to me it is disgusting it's stretched out and flabby from having kids and I just want to be able to wear a bikini again!! also since I was a little girl I have always hated my teeth and I want to fix them desperately but I FEAR the dentist I make appointments but never go PLEASE help me get over my fear of the dentis, I have a huge gap and I just want perfect teeth, I don't like to smile because I am embarrased of my teeth.

I sooo need a makeover Tyra please help me I just want to feel confident in myself the way others see me.

I am 22 yrs old and never knew what style is or really was. I am 5'5" and about 155 which seems a lot but I carry the weight throught my body very well.Either the shirts to tight or it doesn't work at all. Anymore I HATE shopping because as of 2 yrs ago in Dec. my mother had passed so was someone that help me feel good about myself and told me the truth. Even though my boyfriend has helped me and tell me I am beautiful everyday I still don't feel beautiful.When I shop it never seems that they make clothes to fit women like me. Well I will like to get a makeover because well I dress ok but to be honest I buy all my clothes in Wal-Mart is cute and cheap, but I dont really get up to date clothes! I'm a little bit on the heavy side and i'm in a diet right now. But for once I will like to dress in fashion and with something that fits my body right! Just like all the other ladies on this post I would LOVE to get a makeover. I don't know what real fashion is... I shop at rummage sales and thrift stores and if I do go to a 'real' store it's more like Wal-Mart and I only buy things that are on clearance. I have 6 children, ages 8, 4, 3, and 3 month old triplets and I don't spend much money on myself... as my children always come first. We live on one income and it hasn't been easy... we weren't expecting to have any more children after our 3 year old and our budget has been severly strained, to say the least we were shocked to find out that I was even pregnant, then when we found out the week before Christmas we were having triplets we were floored. We are now the proud parents of 5 boys and 1 girl. Well since I had the babies I don't feel as 'sexy' as I used to, I have a bit of extra weight and I like to try and 'hide' it behind big baggy clothes. I don't have ANY sense of fashion and I wouldn't even know where to begin so I would appreciate your help. I know that there are a lot of derserving women on here posting, so if I don't get chosen I understand. Thank you.

Originally I got this idea because my sister wanted to nominate me for this because I was in the united states navy and occurred an injury in 2004 that I now need to go for surgery. They neglegted to make sure that my arm healed. But I decided that my sister needs this more then I do. My little sister Nicole was born with a rare disease. She has a port wine birthmark on her left leg that occationally bleeds uncontrolably. She goes for surgery every few months. As well as Kemo every two weeks. My sister has had medical issues since I can remember. Always in the hospitol and always sick. Although my sister Nicole never lets this hold her down. Nicole was a rather skinny girl until the KT took full effect and she was put on all the medications. Everything thats they do to her is experamental because they aren't sure that it will help her. Nicole is losing her hair among other things. I just think my sister deserves this. She is a big fan of your and it would mean alot to the whole family to see Nicole happy. We know that she will never be cured and just want her to enjoy her time with us. On top of everything I feel guily that I am leaving her to move back to California to live with my husband and my son and Nicole can not fly, she had a horrible flight experiance flying to Boston *the only place in the united states that have surgens that have delt with Klippel Trunanua Weber Syndrom* Please consider my sister.
