i would love for my mom to get a makeover! dont get me wrong shes up to date for the most part, and takes good care of her appearance, but shes one of those moms were when it comes to buying anything clothes, jewelry, shoes, for herself she NEVER will. shed rather buy stuff for the house, or for me and my brother. Tyra--I tried to enlist for the winning 15 fashion things, but I guess too many people were trying to get in at the same time. I just wanted to have something that is actually in fashion. The only thing i own that's even close to fashionable is the Tommy Hilfigger purse i managed to get at the day after Thanksgiving sale last year for $12. The leather felt as if it would melt in your hand. I love it. (By the way, I don't have a purse for every outfit--I buy a purse and use it until it wears out and I buy a new one.) I'm a 34 year old mother of two who just got married a year ago to a very hardworking man that still doesn't make much money. I'm finally taking the prerequisites for nursing school, which makes things even tighter. We get by, but fashion has never been a primary concern for me. I dye my hair out of a $3 box from Walmart and live off their clearance rack. I wear very little makeup; just mascara, lipstick, and sometimes eyeliner. I've never even had a hairstyle; I just trim my bangs myself, when needed. Maybe once a year I go spend $13 to get my ends trimmed. I just wanted to have SOMETHING that makes me feel sexy. I saw this link and thought it would be so neat to have a makeover. To actually have my hair and makeup done and try on clothes that cost more than $5. PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAASE make me beautiful.

tyra my name is charlotte im a 30 yr old woman i have 2 boys that live with me i know u have got a lot of letters but i think mine is unique i have a rare hairloss disorder its calle alopecia totallias i have lost all of my hair including my eyelashes n eyebrows i dont leave the house with out a wig on when im around my own house i wear a ball cap i have been to several doctors they have ran all diffrent kinds of test and everything has came back normal they have no clue why i have lost my hair i have lost all of my self esteem n i feel like a freak i have been without hair going on 2 years but it doesnt get any better my two boys doesnt understand why i can take my hair off and they cant. they think its funny but to be honest there isnt anything funny to me about it this make over is something i think i really need so please consider me for it thank you.

I love you show and watch it always. I recently was hospitalized for severe depression and anxiety. I know I have low self-esteem so I don't dress up much. I am a plus size girl but if I got a makeover I would feel better about myself. I just got married in June and I know my husband would love to see a little change and I think it would help my self-esteem and in turn help my depression. My name is Courtney. I'm a 26 year old mother who's been married 2 times, my husband left me in October. So my confidence has suffered severely since my heart was broken and my trust. I think that maybe a make over will give me a fresh look and help me rebuild that confidence. I could also use some pointers and help in the fashion department and update the look of my make up. I've been wearing the same Tapestry Taupe and pink chiffon eyeshadow for 10 years. I have never changed the way I apply my make up (yikes). I used to model before I had my son (who is now 7) and when I found out I was pregnant I had just been picked to do runway for MSA in Seattle, so with that news I couldnt go. Ever since then my look hasnt been up to date or avante garde what so ever. Ive resorted to wearing Levi's, sweatshirts and ball caps. I work in construction so if you can imagine what I wear there is about the same as what I wear when Im at home. I have really cute shoes, accessories and clothes but I dont know how to wear any of it. My sister keeps giving me all of these really cute stylish outfits and I dont know what to wear any of them with. You know how it goes, you have to wear a certain pair of shoes with a specific jean or skirt and then the top is the final piece that really makes a statement when finishing off what you're wearing. So I have bits and pieces and odds and ends of whats new and in style I just dont know how to wear them. I have been out of the fashion scene for so long that I think its time that my out of date look needs to be up dated. I would love to feel beautiful again... PLEASE help me Tyra!!

This is not for me. I would love to see my daughter get a makeover. She is 24, married, and has 1 child. I own a business and she works for me.
My business is very customer oriented so looks and appearances are very important. My daughter has, in my opinion, a
"sloppy" appearance. Pants that don't fit, t-shirts with band logos, and her all time favorite hooded sweatshirt with a Rainbow Brite picture on it. Sometimes the clothes she wears, I am sure, have been picked up off the floor and put on - instead of ironing them or making sure they are clean. She has beautiful thick, long hair that she does nothing with but pull into a pony tail. The one thing that I hate the most are the piercing. She has her nose pierced which she wears a ring in it. A cute little diamond would be more acceptable in the work place.
She is in the process of stretching or gauging her ear piercings. She wears these large tube type things in her ears to enlarge the holes to the point that you can see right through the hole!
I have always brought my children up to be who the are. But there is a difference between "being who you are" and being sloppy. I don't want my daughter to "change" who she is, just clean up a little and be aware of what is appropriate for work.

Tyra, I have tried my influence but that has not worked. Maybe you could work your magic with her.

Girl, I really need your help. I'm the 23 year old mother of a wonderful 19 month old daughter and wife to a US Soldier.
