Dear Tyra
I know that this is for comments asking for makeovers on ourselves but I am taking it in a different direction. I would love it if my mom could get a makeover. To me she is the most beautiful woman in the world and it is sad she can't see it. She gave up so much for my sister, brother and myself and I would love to give something back to her. My mom deserves to have her dreams come true and if I could give her this one dream I would be the happiest Airman (that is right I am in the Air Force) in the world. I'm not one to normally post anything like this, but I would like to get a make over taylored by you. I've been struggling with a widow's peak for 34 years now. I'd love to be able to be proud of it instead of fighting with it. I have three very active children (13, 12 and 6 months) so I don't have a lot of time or money to spend on myself. As a result, I'm asking the one person I trust to help me...you!

as many times are you might hear this, my mom is amazing. She is trying to support me as a mother and a father.She used to have an amazing job to support me [her now 13 year old daughter. Then we had some personal family problems and she was forced to give it up. In this 2007 world, it's hard to find any old job w/ not many experiences. So in other words, money is somewhat a problem for us. My poor mother just had her 2nd kid, at 39 years old, all on her own. SO my family consists of me, my 3 week old sister, and my mom. She uses all the money she gets to give me lunch money, buy my sisters diapers, and provide us with clothes/food, she she has no money for herself. So when the bridge feel off of the tooth beofre a few months ago, she had no money to fix it, and her insurance wouldn't cover it. Then while pregant, she had a very infectious tooth ache, and thank god it did not effect the baby. She still has all these effects, plus she now has a very saggy stomach from haveing an 8 pound baby. My mom watches you're show all the time and wishes it was her. I don't want you to show sympthany for us because we barley get by, i just want at least someone to give us a break and help us a little. That's why i wrote to you. PLEASE consider giving my mom a make-over to fix her acne, saggy stomach, and messed up teeth.. thank you (:

TYRA!!!! PLEASE HELP MY MOM!!! I would like my mother to be recognized for a MAKEOVER because she’s not only been my mother, but a Father as well. My dad (separated for 10 years) was in the Navy so she had to take on the responsibility of four children (two boys and two girls). Her fulltime occupation right now is watching her two grandchildren (Jiovanni 2 years: Jazlyn 7 months): as well as watching her 26 year old son who is schizophrenic/bipolar. (Which is another subject which why she needs a makeover). My wish would be to make my mother feel so special and feel great after all that she is!! (AND ACCOMPLISHED) January 2007 she took a major decision to get gastric bypass surgery. She has lost over 100 lbs. GREAT! Now, before she lost the weight she always had this ONE pair of black jeans that she always, always would wear. Now that she lost the weight she still moved into another pair of black pants that she always, always wears. Her wardrobe literally can fit in one draw. I once gave her a Lane Bryant card so that she can buy clothes; instead of her buying clothes she bought bras and undergarments for her and my younger sister. I have pictures of when she was younger and she looks like a TOP MODEL. My mother doesn’t get out much, and when she does she does not like going to places that you have to look nice because she just doesn’t have the clothes and would feel out of place. She doesn’t even want to meet guys because she doesn’t have something nice to go out in. She’s stuck in her ways of how she used to look and feel. I want her now that she lost all this weight to have a social life, meet men, don’t come home until three/four in the morning because she was out having fun, with her new self. She never gets a break at home, because when she is not babysitting she is watching her son which is always doing something that she needs to attend to. Our family is always willing to support her: BUT we want something more to show her that we love and proud of everything that she has done for us and for her self. Hi Tyra ,Well I always wanted to ask But couldnt Afford to go to LA..But now that ur show is IN NY..I think it a great chance ..My mom Has been A single mother since God knows when,to 5 of us ..3 of us moved out already ,But my 2 little brother are still living with her..She happens to have really good genes so She looks alot younger than she is ...But She has a very low self esteem ,because she is over weight ..I have a close relationship with her so ...She tells me alot ..& eventhough she thinks it doesnt have an effect on me it does...She has tried everything..Every Weight loss pill which I tell her its not healthy..Exercise,She has even tried to kill herself..& im the only one that knows..Sorry but yeah its that BAD..I dont know what else to do ,,I have tried to go with her to the gym,To buy new Clother To get our hair & nails done..But nothing works...& it kinda reflects on her personality, When we go shopping she gets upset And rushes out of the stores..Because she says she hates to go shopping she doesnt do any girlie thing because she doesnt feel beautiful..I know that u have alot to do ...But I think ur awesome & know u can help A lot more than I can..So If u can Give some Tips on How to feel better About yourself ,Even being Over Weight ..Or Refer som Doctors ,,That'll be Wonderful..I know A makeover Will change My moms Life ,,Thank You..Ciao

Hi tyra my name is Yolanda I really need a nice make over I am so drained I am 39 years old I look like I am 27 and sometimes younger than that I dont know if it is my hair or what.I had my first child at 17 years old and been raising kids ever since my baby is 4 and I have 2 more in between and 1 that died at 3days old. Well i would like to be considered for a makeover because not only does my outside need help my inside does too. when i was 15 i started to get sick. at 16 i was diagnosed with lupus. the first couple of years were okay and managed. the year i turned 18 and lost my insurance my health started to spiral. so many times the doctors said i would die if i didn't get help. but i tried everything and couldn't get help. needless to say i started to be depress and let myself go. at arounf 21 i was in and out of the hospital. in 2005 i spent majority of the year in the hospital room. twice in ccu. i am 23 years old and as you can see i proved the doctors wrong. they still can't believe because everything in their text tells them i shoudn't survive. i am a fighter. i still have alot of problems on a daily basis and currently use oxygen. secondary to the lupus i have congestive heart failure, pulmanary hypertension whigh is completely different from hypertension in which i also have and a list of other things. all of this and did i mention i'm 23. so in the process i just really let apperance go. but i want to be an inspriration to someone else as you have to me. just to say just because your sick you don't have to look like it. I always say if you look good you feel good but i just don't look good.lol I don't know where to start anymore. thank you

I REALLY NEED HELP but I would be a VERY difficult makeover. I am a 51 year old Disabled Veteran. I have to wear knee braces so that usually limits me to jeans that won't snag on the velcro. I always wear specific styles of New Balance tennis shoes but that leaves me very limited in clothing choices. I need a shoe that has a great deal of support for my ankles and knees. So ... I usually just wear my jeans, a shirt with a collar that buttons and then my New Balance shoes. Do they make any boots that the bottoms are like New Balance shoes?? Oh ... I am also thick waisted and large busted. I am NOT an hour glass figure. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME IT WOULD BE YOU!!!

I would love to be considered for a makeover because I've needed one for at least 32 years!Ever since I was 18 yr's old, after giving birth to my first child, my belly stretched out so much, I was left with loose skin at such a tender age & had two more children after that & always lost all my weight but had the loose skin! Now at my age I am going thru menopause( HOT FLASHES!! )and put on 20 lbs. Now I look & feel terrible! I look pregnant & I desperatly need a Micheal Thurman work-out & diet plan, I cannot stay on a restricted eating plan to loose this weight, but if you could help me I would very much make you proud of me! Please help me try to regain my self-esteem!

Thanks for being you! There are many reasons I would like a makeover. At first I thought it would be good to feel beautiful again. Several months ago I found out that the love of my life + my childrens father had been cheating on me. Love can be blind. I realize now that it has to be for me not that i wasn't ok all along the problem also is with others, and the only person we can change is ourselves.

Well i must say that i love your show!!!! its really cool, and even being a guy, i watch it. Now i wanna talk about this tailored by Tyra Makeover. Id love for you to give me and my momma a makeover. We have gone through quite a year... and we just need something that will help us forget all of that. I just graduated from high school, but because of my irresponsibility, i was about to not graduate. Because of that, we went through so much struggles to try and get me to graduate, to get me to pass just one class. And we did. We pulled it together , and i got to graduate!!! But we also had a problem from way back. My mom is a Teacher, and one of her children's parents had her children removed from her, therfore, my mom decided to help her by having them with her in foster care. At the beginning we thought it would be fun, since its just me and her, but it got pretty bad. After 6 months of having them with us, problems started to surge. The children's mother began to talk trash about my mom, putting her reputation really low at her work, and with other parents. She was talking really bad about us, and Made my mom's time way hard. All this tension came to the point where my mom was about to give up. She fell into some sort of "mini depression" where all that tension just made her feel tired, and weak, and without strength. My mom decided to not have the girls anymore, so now they are not with us anymore, and our life is pretty back to normal, but i believe we deserve something better this year. Please do this for us. If not for both of us, at least for her, she deserves it. She is a single mom, who does everything for me. I love her, and i want to show her just how much i appreciate her love for these past 18 years. I hope you can do this for me.

Hi Tyra your hot! Always will be a fan of your Victoria Secrets catalogues. Um, anyways, I wanted to put a nomination or whatever for a makeover or whatever in for my wife. She's super hot and a dream to me, but she's way too self concious cuz she's got lots of little scars all over her face, arms, legs, an her behind, like everywhere. She doesn't like dressing sexy for me and we always have to have the lights off, if ya know what i'm sayin. She also messed up her hair pretty bad. She had a punk style and when trying to put it back to a more natural color she fried it all and had to cut it off, which she did herself, like usual so she's got some bald spots and its terrible, she might need a recomendation for some weave, lol. Anyways, it would be nice to see her happy and confident again if you could help her out.
