Umm, I really don't know what to say. Well, My name is Kaitlyn, I'm 14, almost 15 in about three months. Im a freshman, I'm overweight, and I have Alopecia Areta, and it is currently taking over my life. I think this makeover could be good for me, to show that I can look nice, and I would also love to have my teeth fixed, I need braces badly, and my mother is pretty much dirt poor, can't even afford to buy me new socks. Well, I really don't know what else to say, but I don't even know why I'm doing this, most times you do do stuff like this, its too older women and stuff, and I really have no chance, but thanks for reading, you rock :D

Tyra,
I'm a 25 year old mother of the most beautiful three year old girl you could ever lay your eyes upon! I'm also a full time student in a medical assisting program. I've also got a job. So when I'm not at school, work I'm out playing at the park or in the yard in the dirt with my daughter. So that pretty much leaves no time to look fierce or sexy! I was out of work for a while due to me having surgery to remove the abnormal cells in my cervix that were spreading rapidly. The doctor said we had to get it taken care of before it turned into out right cancer, because it was already at the highest most dangerous stage (before it was actual cancer), well since my surgery I have gained some weight and feel very unattractive. My fiance is very supportive in all of my endeavors and tells me that I am beautiful just the way I am, but it's hard to believe it when I'm always trying for everyone else but myself. On a typical day you will see my long hair pulled up in a pony tail or a bun and either my work/school scrubs or blue jeans with holes and a t-shirt. I'm sure there are other women that most likely deserve this more than I do, but it would be a nice change to look and feel good!

Hey Tyra,
Wow its amazing just scrolling down the list to see how many hey,or hi Tyra's there are. Anywho my name is Tara im 19 and i am currently unemployed and uneducated. I have been moving around since i was oh about 3, i was born in Germany and have been jumping around ever since. My father is in the military and well lets say life as an army brat isnt quite the normal walk in the park. My mother is from Texas and my father from california the together have 3 children.Tara 19 , sarah 17, and jonathan 13. Now a broken family, divorce and both remarried. I live in New orleans ,la. My sister sarah lives with her boyfriend in alexandria, la. and my brother lives in dallas with my mother. My father lives about 3 hours north of me with his new wife from Thailand. My life has been quite chaotic with partys, running away, sex, drugs anything to try to have a good time! Moving to okinawa ,japan was problaby the biggest influence on my life. Being a tall attractive american girl, goodness you had it made in japan. i was only 15 when i moved there, and buying alcohol or getting into clubs wasnt all that hard for me. I let my life go, i would skip school, sneak out, take cough medicine to get high. Finally my parents didnt want to take it anymore so my mother, sister, brother and me moved back to the states. We moved to Alexandria ,Louisiana. Things didnt get any better after that. I got into real drugs. I ended up getting kicked out of school in the 10 grade for marijuana and then my home my mother didnt want to deal with me and if i was her i wouldnt have either. OH and i had dyed my hair bright pink at the time. I moved around for awhile to friends houses sleeping on their couches or pull out beds i think i slep in a car once but that was my fault. My father moved back to the states about 10 months after us and my parents split up. My mother met a guy on the internet (from what i was told)she moved to dallas. My father had already knew his wife for sometime. I moved back in with my father and took the guy i was dating at the time with me, i had been staying with this guy i met and his step brother Jason, who is now dating my sister. I had just turned 18 in march and in april i was introduced to Sugar and spice and got rid of the guy. A friend of mine worked at this gentelmans club, she danced i started off waitressing and moved to dancing about three months later and moved into my bosses house. So now i was this big hotshot crazy pink, purple, hair had money did what ever pretty much but i didnt even have a car. My dad sold the house we were staying and everyone is where they are now except me, i moved out of my bosses into my aunts(she moved to louisana for about a year from dallas, my moms sister), got kicked out of that house i lived in a hotel about 2 and a half weeks, during thanks giving last year. Then i moved in with a girlfriend of mine that didnt workout at all. There was tons of drug and alcohol abuse in there. Then for about 4 months before i moved to new orleans i lived on my good friends james couch. He opened my eyes just enough to see i that i didnt need to be in that town anylonger. well actually i was coming to baton rouge to work and ended up partying with old friends in new orleans where i met the man i live with now. I was dating this guy (scott) for about 8 or 9 months and just left him. On his birthday too. I feel horrible about that. but now ive been in New orleans for about 5 months now and i love it here its just amazing and i love the man am with now but i want to get my life on track and thats where you come in. I would like to have and education so that i may have a good job. Wow i just told you my whole life story.
love

Tyra, I recently was diagnosed with Cancer and am only 39. I am a business professional and a mother. I have had to take time off of work. The kind of cancer I had only affects women. I realized my new passion in life is to help bring awareness to young women in the world. I want to do this but need some guidance. I would like to make a commercial.,, or just increase the voice. I know you are interested in helping people and I want to do the same! I was in Pharmaceutical Sales for years and I realized that I can do more in life! I watched your show while I was recovering from my 2 surgeries! and I am ready to LIVE LIFE! Can you possibly help me with increasing the knowledge about this cancer. We can help so many women... Is there any way I can have a business meeting with you to discuss my thoughts ? PLease Please contact me. I really need to do this .. Thank you. Adrienne.

Hey Tyra:
I am a 48 yr old woman and in need of a makeover. On Aug 20th 2007, I was going to work at 5:40am and was struck by a truck(suv). Thank GOD there was nothing broken, he hit me so hard that it knocked my spirit out of my body. So when I realized what happened, I was on the ground. I can't talk to much about it but I feel I have a second chance at life and I need a new look to match my new life. I have a gap and don't feel to good about my self, my left eye is lazy and I need some help. Yes I am a SO WHAT GURL, haha. ya so what I have this and that. But I don't take good pictures and makeup makes me sweat and itch. What to do you are sooooooooooooo beautiful and awesome spirit. I try to watch both your shows, talk and top model. I love your shows that make me feel good about myself. Being a SO WHAT GURL helps but deep down I still hurt with the way that I look. I could go into a club and no one will talk to me. They say that I look mean but I am not mean, I make jokes to get the attention off of my looks.

Hey girl, how are things going.. well I know they r just fine...Neway just wanted to say I have never wrote to any talk show host before. I watch you on TV and think you are what young girls and woman need to boost up their life. I would like to make over my mom Jackie. She had a hardship forover the past ten years with diabetes. She was on insulin and pills. She also had reconstructive sergery on both her feet. She was in a wheelchair for almost 6 months not once but twice. And I was always there to help her..yeah girl even took her shopping in the wheelchair..LOL with the cart.. that was fun...Helped her through everything. Nevermind carrying up the bags and the wheelchair and helping her up like 50 miles of stairs!!!! Then she had to get surgery on both her eyes because the doctor said she would go blind if she didnt get the surgery. She finally got the balls to get Open Gastric Bypass done!!!!Because of the diabetes she gained alot of weight. She lost over 150 lbs!!! She is still going through some stuff but with GOD there all the time she came back from hell alot of times but Lord knows she is fighter, the strongest woman I ever knew!!!!!I think with her helping me with my boys in life and dealing with other personal issues she deserves a makeover!!! I just recently got married and moved about an hour away and she misses us dealry and stresses alot. but I try to remind her I am not that far away. I miss doing things with her and for her..We had fun in those darkest of times though. Girl, I was going to be selfish and apply for myself but...nah I think she deserves it more than me..Much love Cheryl S.

Hi Tyra,
I am a 19 year old girl from West Virginia, and I need your help.
Since graduating highschool my family fell into financial hardship, and I have given up my dream (for now) to help my parents, and have been a 24/7 caregiver to my 17 year old sister who has trans-chromosome disorder, and my mothers 20 or so dogs.
And while spending the last year and a half being a stay-at-home-semi-mom, I have lost my own personal style and confidence.
I would love love love to reconnect with myself, but I am so lost in selfesteem issues.
Next year I plan on moving in with my long time beau and I also intend on restarting the pursuit of my dream, and I know that my self-esteem and image needs a definite boost.
I have always admired you for your confidence and pride in who you are. I hope to one day have the ability to see the beauty in myself, and I would love if that opportunity would come by way of my role model -- you.
Thank you for your time.

Hey MS Tyra,
Ok Tyra here it is my mom is 58 and she just had surgery and she needs to show off her new body. When she was younger she had it and she flaunted it! After having me at 37 she put on weight over a few years and she was always in jeans and a T-shirt or sweatshirt. But recently she had cosmetic surgery and she looks amazing (although she looked great to me before the surgery) and she is finally comfortable with her body but she still doesn't dress like it! She is still in cloths that do nothing for her figure! Please help Tyra! I really want my mom to be happy!
Love,
Katie

Of course time has taken its mormal toll- teeth, weight, droop and I seem to have really lost myself somewhere between divorce and grandchildren. I have male pattern baldness and alopecia. I chose to wear my remaining hair - bald. Which I did for about eight months. Now I am wearing a wig if I can remember to put it on or bring it with me. I am accostomed to wearing weaves but since I moved back south I could not find the right hair due to the humidity here.
I feel soo.. weird because this is really the opposite of me pre-40's
With my new weight I can't figure what is the style for my body. I need /want help!!!

Thank you. Adrienne.

Tyra I am getting married on November third of this year, only a few weeks away.I am 24 years old and from Philadelphia Pa. I am a stay at home mom of two children (a 4 yr old and a 10 mth old) i can not get health insurance through my fiance because we are not married yet, not to mention he was just laid off a couple of weeks ago.I would love more than anything in this world to have my teeth fixed so i can smile the way i should be as a blushing bride in all my wedding photos. My teeth are chipped and because they are, they have started to decay a bit and i smile in a way so that my teeth are not fully exposed because i am so embarassed. It would be the best wedding gift i could ever ask for. Please Tyra could you make my dream come true?

Hi Tyra!
I'm 23 years old and I will graduate from The University of Texas at Austin in May. I am starting to build my business wardrobe and I just don't know where to start. Could you help me put together a professional and chic wardrobe on a college kid's budget?
Thanks!

Love,
Katie

Dear Tyra,
I hope this offer is still available. My name is Elaine and I am 48 years old .
