Hey Tyra, my name is Donielle Houston. I am from Norristown Pa, a lil town on the out skirts of philly. My graandmother Mrs. Rose Houston is 75 yrs old and has just been diagnosed with empazyma. She always took care of all her children, her children's children and all our friends. her house is very very old! Everyone in the world has lived here at one point or another and I feel like we owe it to her to have her house done. The basement gets wet and it's kinda moldy and that's all coming through the vents and it's just not good for her to breath the air. We are willing to do anything to get the house together if we had some help.she deserves to be in a nice house with clean air where she can get well and be cozy and comfortable. we are a good christian family, we all just got baptized together last year and if it's his will for this dream to come true, I know HIS will, will be done. Also Tyra my mom has a dynamic story about her life and how she has turned it around, I think you'd love to hear it...........Hope to hear from you soon. WE LOVE YOU! Peace and blessings

Hi Tyra,
I am a 40 year old woman who in definite need of a make over and what better person to talk to then you. Everyday I learn something new when watching your show from fashion tips to more serious issues that don't even pertain to fashion. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm from inglewood,ca like yourself now residing in sherman oaks, ca. I've never been anywhere on this planet other than rosarito beach, mexico. Isn't that pitful?? and I am married with 1 child. so sad. The reason why I haven't been anywhere is because my life has been in a whirlwind for a several years now. I'm still.. (if you can believe this) caught up in trying to find myself, I guess you can call it a depression because I have no job, I'm just a stay at home and wife, boring!!!! I love my family but I feel like I got lost in myself and forgot about me and I think more about them. I am in total need of an extreme make over, I don't like to smile, I have no confidence because I don't look or feel good about myself. I really want to come out and feel happy again, I'm 40 years old and feel like it's too late to do anything with my life, please help to gain a little confidence, You and kimora lee simmons are fashionista divas and such inspirations to me. Dear Tyra,
I do not want a makeover. This is for my mom. She is everything to me. She raised My siblings and me to be nice and caring. But she needs something for herself.
Everyday I come home from school to see my mom exhasted. She gave birth to 5 children and adopted 2 more. A total of 3 boys and 4 girls. THe children my parents adopted were our 2nd cousins. They have problems. My mother is home with 5 of them all day everyday. She home teaches two. I'm the oldest child and it hurts me to come home from school and see her tired stressed and angry. She stays up making sure all of us kids are asleep. Then wakes up in the middle of the night sometimes to take care of my siblings and me. She wakes up at six every morning and starts laundry, dishes, or breakfast. By the end of the day she has circles under her eyes. She is in her early 30's and looks good. I think that this makeover will help her be strenghthened and would be a treat. I love my mom and want to do something special for her. I tell her to go to a spa but she hates people massaging her. PLEASE tyra. my mom has worked hard. My father and I both want this for her.
Lots of Love,
Heather Simmons 14 year old daughter,
Alora Simmons.

Hi Tyra, I am fallen in love with your smarts, your beauty and yo big ole booty girl!!! Just joking. i LIKE MEN ADN AMEN ONLY!!!
I love to watch your show. I think you and Beyonce along with Oprah and a few others are the smartest women in the world. That is why I am via-ing for your help.
I have a 14 year old daughter, Di' Chey De'Ontranece.
Tyra she has went from running wild, being in the juvenile home for a while to, being defiant and disrespectful, and having failing grades. She had a very poor disposition. Thank God above a MIRACLE has happened in a short period of time.
On a whim she has TOTALLY changed herself into a very nice smart respectable beautiful young women who is very accepting of herself and our relationship. I like your mom, am so very proud of her. RECENTLY she got into a spat with a 11th grade BOY who told her that she looked dirty and was worthless because she didnt have a weave and brand named labelled clothes, and her teet5h were raggedy. When she told me I could tell that she was hurt but I wasmore surprised at her reaction to the whole situation. He did this in the hall way at school and she PROUDLY told him that, "My momma said as long as I am clean and presentable I am ok , lables dont make me and I dont care, as long I am a smart and wise."
I was so proud of this statement Tyra. i am a retired army mother who decided long ago that I would pay it forward for those who paved the way long before me, now I am work for the veterans at the JOHN D DINGELL VA MEDICAL HOSPITAL IN DDOWNTOWN DETROIT, MICHIGAN.
Last Sunday she led a song in the choir and she made me feels so bad when she said SHE NEVER FEELS LIKE ANYONE ENCOURAGES HER TO DO WELL. I explained to her that everyday when I tell her to be good, be smart and work hard, that I was encouraging her. I feel so sad for her because she has really had a hard life seeing her father beat me and me spending mosty of important years of life serving my country. i love her dearly so I have always wanted us to have a mommy daughter make over. I must say that at 40 I oftern get mistaken for her sister. we look exactly alike. ITS EYE SCARY TO SEE US TOGETHER SOME SAY. TYRA IW ANT NOTHING FOR MYSELF, BUT IS IT POSSIBLE YOU CAN GET DICHEY A TOTAL MAKE OVER A A CHANCE TO GET SOME BRAND MNAMED CLOTHES THAT WOULD BLOW THIS GUYS RUDE COMMENTS OUTTA THE WATER? SHE IS A WONDERFUL, ENERGETIC GIRL WHO JUST NEEDS SOME SPECIAL ENCOURAGMENT FROM ME AND YOU AND YOUR SHOW. PLEASE I THINK THIS WOULD GIVE HER JUST THE BOOST OF CONFIDENCE SHE NEEDS.

I would TOTALLY love a makeover, if you’re giving them away. . S-W-E-E-T!!!
Well, not for my face or body- I've made peace with that. But for my HOUSE, oh' my beautiful little house (it's beautiful- but no one can tell because the vision is in my mind)!
I've worked long and hard for it to get this far, but being a full-time student and letting go of my job, I have no more money or time to put in to it. I did the living room (gorgeous-well. . . to my standards (i'm a humble person)) and got my room, and bathroom (okay, that's still bad- I have a PINK toilet, tub, and sink, yup-the kind from the 70's and it looks bad with the turquoise tile, talk about Miami Vice. . . but I still love it!) But the one that looks IMPOSSIBLE is the kitchen, see Tyra. . .I love FOOD, its the best stuff on earth, I mean FOOD, c'mon, well. . a kitchen should be welcoming right? Not this one, it’s SPOOKY! The walls and ceiling have these horrible thick planks of wood and this crack of a window. No light, no natural light, honestly... it feels like a dungeon, I mean Who wants to be in a dungeon, I kid you not. bad bad bad. From top to bottom, it’s just bad. I'm trying to fix it up by putting new cabinets but my arms hurt after all that sanding and staining And it Still Looks Bad.
So yes, I love you and your show, I think you’re amazing and awesome and an inspiration on all levels. So if you would like to throw some inspiration my way to give me that gorgeous kitchen that i know it could be, I'd love it!
Thanks for everything, love your show!

Hey, Tyra. I just wanted to say that i love your ANTM show and my favorite part is when all the models get makeovers. I'm not sure why they get all angry/sad/uncomfortable when you do their hair because they are beautiful no matter what and this morning i was watching the re-run of a couple of seasons. The first episode to come on was the make-over part and I thought, "hey wouldn't it be awesome if Tyra could do this to me!?!" I was really excited at the thought so i came to your sight to see if this was any way possible and found THIS!
I am a 5'5", freckle faced, rather busty, kinda shy kind of girl,a nd since I don't weigh 100 pounds i'm sorta self-conscious. I'm also more tom boyish then anything and that makes the guys think of me as more of a "friend" then a girlfriend.
I know lots of girls applied for this and that many have better (and most likely way more personal reasons) but i'd be so happy if you could help me change the way I look and therefore how I view myself.
Thanks, emily

Hi, Tyra.
I'm a huge of your America's Next Top Model Show and my favorite part is when all the models get a make over. I don't understand why they get angry/sad/or uncomfortable because they are all beautiful whether you change their hair or not. This morning I was watching the show again and thought "Hey wouldn't it be awesome if Tyra could make me over!" I honestly wouldn't want anything really extravigant, maybe some styling tips and a new hair due. I keep changing my hair year after year going from really long with bangs, to really short with none, to really dark, to really light, and everything in between. I can't seem to find a hairstyle or a personal style that I actually like on myself. I know lots of other girls probably have better reasons then mine but a make-over would seriously boost my confidence...
XOXO, Emily

Tyra,
I'll keep it simple my birthady is in a few weeks and I'm turning 35. For the last three years I've been taking care of my father who died of Cancer in July. In the mean time my hair is a disaster. Braids (extensions) that are really old, tired and matted lookin. I just don't know who can deal with my wooly locks. I don't want to go out and do anything because I just look awful. A guy who has been trying to date me invited me to Turks with his jet setting friends, but i said no b/c my hair is a mess.I need a polished hair look for this next part of my life...

Dear Tyra,
Let me begin by congratulating you on your success as a talk show host. What you've done is an inspiration to me. Recently I turned 40 and I promised myself that I would begin to do all the things I failed to do when I was younger. It is my dream to publish my poetry in the near future and minister to women about low self esteem and learning to love themselves.Life has taught me to take advantage of every God given opportunity and I believe that being a better me starts with a much needed make over. I have not worked on a permanent job for about three years but I do intend to go back to school to take up a course in real estate.I am requesting that you consider me for your next make over show.It would be a dream come true to get rid of this hairstyle that I've worn for almost 10 years!Thank you for your time!

Hi! Tyra, I an writing to ask for you to please choose me. I am 43. I have just relocated to Texas with my husband due to his job relocation. I feel like a fish out of water down here. I need a new look so I can feel more comfortable with myself as I am trying to meet new friends. I live in Arlington Texas, but I travel into Dallas to work every week. I would just love to have a makeover that would be appropriate for me. I either feel older or youger then I actually am. I just once would love to fell comfortable in my own skin. I am confident that a great makeover would be a good start and help me build more confidence to meet some wonderful friends here in Texas. Thank you.

Hey Tyra! After reading some of these comments, I don't know if it hurts my chances that I don't have a sad story to tell along with this comment. I just would like a makeover! I mean who wouldn't want a style makeover from you! I watch the show and I love how fashionable you are. I don't think I'm a style misfit, but I sure would like some new clothes for my post-baby body. My baby girl Sydney is 1 month and 2 weeks old. I am one size bigger than I was pre-pregnancy and so now I'm having to buy all new clothes, which is kind of hard to do when my school loan is kicking my but. I don't even have credit card debt, and it's a shame that my credit score is suffering from my school loan not being paid. The price we have to pay to have a good education. :( Anyways, I would love get a style makeover!!! Love you Tyra!!!

Dear Tyra,
My friend and Co-worker Ronda worked together years ago and we have reccently joined back together. We are in a Mortgage~Realestate business which brings heavy traffic in and out of the office daily. The problem is Ronda has the same dress code, hair style, etc...She is 46 and also does not have the best teeth. All this needs a dramatic fix!!! She is still stuck in the 80's and I tell her she needs a change and she says "Well I could get a perm"...NO!!! Perms have been out. She just needs a change and help. She has definatly not had a smooth path as far as life goes and has had many struggles on the way. Although many people have not had the most fortunate life I think that this would make her more confident with herself and would make others like her husband, family, friends, etc give her a major postive outlook. It would also make me feel like I really helped someone that really needs this. Things like this change people's life's and would most encourage her more in the workforce and in her personal life . It will bring a greater attitude in her future...By all your shows I watch I know you are great!!! I hope you can help and can give her a little taste of your spunk...!!!=)
Thanks very much...Kim

I know that I am not in the worst shape but I really want a total makeover. My hair, makeup, the way I dress, and even the way my body looks. I have a pretty plain style. Don't really like to wear tight jeans or shirts because I don't feel comfortable. I usually just throw my hair up on top of my head so I don't have to deal with it. Please Tyra I am getting married in June and NEED your help.

Hey Tyra,
I love your show you are such an inspiration to me. I am 26 years old and in college. I am getting my B.S and then continuing on to be a Physical Terapist. It's hard work but, I keep telling my self it will pay off in the end. I am married with 2 boys 10 and 8. Everyone gives me a hard time because I use to dress really cute and now that I have gained a bunch of weight all I wear is big baggy clothes because that is what I am comfortable wearing. I feel better when I wear makeup and fix up until I put clothes on other than tshirts and jeans. I dont know how to dress my self for my size. I really couldnt even tell you what size I am because it been so long since I have bought new clothes. I have no self confidence and really dont know how to change this and I would love to made over by one of your makeovers.
Love,
Amanda

Dear Tyra,
I do not want a makeover.

Her name is Donneice Crawford she is disvorced and has 5 kids to take care of Titus Christan Content Patannas and me, Adedrion the oldest daughter. MY mom always buys things for us and the house but never herself. She always puts us first no matter what she even quit college and had 4 jobs just to make sure we had what we wanted and needed and i really am grateful for that. So if ever get this message i would really like if you would help my mom out by giving her a make over so she can feel good about herself for she is beautiful on the inside and out she just doesn't know it yet

Love,
Amanda

Hey Tyra. I love your show. I'm 15 and a sophmore in high school. I watch your school or i'm home sick or something. I just wanted to tell you that I admire you for your confidence and although i'm not totally against myself for self esteem I just wanted to give you an open mind on the makeover thing. I think I would have more confidence if I did get a makeover by you. So just wanted to tell you that and to say I admire you. Bye!!! P.s. I LOVE ANTM!!!
