Want A Makeover Tailored by Tyra?

Hey Tyra! My name's Tatiana and I'm 21 years old. Just wanted to let you know I T-Vo your show everyday :-) I saw that you were offering makeovers and I got excited! This request is not for myself. I'm actually requesting it for my sister. She has always talked about how she would want a makeover and has joked about how I should enter her for one. Well I saw this as a great opportuniy :-) I know you have a lot of request and I know the chances of her getting selected are slim but it would be a great surprise for her. My sister means so much to me and she has been like a mother to me for a while now. Thanks for considering her and I know you have a lot of request so good luck in choosing them!

I live in a tiny little town in North Carolina!! I am currently 5months pregnant with my first baby!! :0 I am really excited to be bringing a life into the world!! I get to find out today what it is!! :D

The reason i would like a makeover tailored by you is because since i got pregnant, well even before i got pregnant... I have been looking real slummy lately!! I have no sense of fashion and i have not had the money to buy anything new in probably two years!! Plus i just got married and of course you know how hard and expensive it is to get started out on your own!! :)My husband and I are going to be struggling for while, at least until we both get through college and find good jobs. But i would just really love it if i could at least get some good tips from you and maybe some advice on you know life!! It would be great!! I do not really expect to get the makeover because I know there are so many other women who need your help but it does not hurt to ask right!! :) But hopefully i will hear from you soon and i can get some great tips and advice from you!!

Thanks!!

Love,
Brooke!! :)

PS
Your a great rolemodel!! Never stop doing what your doing!! Maybe if the baby is a girl i can raise her to be a strong, confident woman, like you!! I will be praying for you!! :)

Hola Tyra...
Well I have seen how many letters have been posted and now, I think to myself why am I doing this?, What are the odds of you reading my letter, but It's worth a try. it's like wanting to win the lotto in Texas. LOL . Well how do i start,I am too a 24 year old new mom who needs a makeover. I think it would be a good idea to do a makeover show for "New Moms" who want to look GOOD and maybe HOOOOT for their partners. My husband is a runner he has ran many marathons and we are planning on taking a trip so see him run a marathon in January in Orlando!! I am excited except we are going to take pictures, and before it wouldn't have bothered me but now I have a lot of extra weight and my clothes are not fashionable and pretty mommy material. I feel trashy, frumpy. I am also scared that my husband might start losing intererest in me!! PLEASE HELP!! I want to feel pretty, and fashionable as I walk next to my beautiful family and be able to take as many pictures as possible so we can show all those pictures to our kids when they grows up and see how beautiful their mommy looked. I am willing to go on a diet plan if you suggest to. !!! LOL (I'm not joking)
Thank you Tyra

Keep doing what you do. You are like an angel... even if you have already put your wings up.

Hello Tyra, I'm commenting 4 the 1st time. Your show really is one to watch and ilove it even though i only get 2 see old episodes cuz i dont have cable :( But I'd sure like a makeover by you! I'm 16 and want 2be a fashion designer and i think it would be great to look the part. Don't think I'll ever get your makeover though-I live in Trinidad and Tobago. Wonder if you've ever heard of it? ha, ha- I doubt! :)However, keep up your good work on the show, you've got fans in the Caribbean too! great wishes,Comaine.

Tyra,

I just want to start off by saying you have to be one of the first women in television who believe big can be beautiful and curves can be captivating. I can remember when you commented on your tyraville body image two show series that you thought that voluptuous women looked strong and powerful, that they would take no lip from anyone and keep everything in line more or less. Every time i watched Top Model and saw the gorgeous photographs those plus sized models took, so full of life and energy, the more i wished that I grew up in a more forgiving time. Within the past five years alone, full figured females have made leaps and bounds in social standing and its all thanks to people with the pull of the public eye much like you broadcasting acceptance not boasting bony beauty. With that said, I wish that american women, and all women in general had higher self-esteem because, whether we know it or not, we very much sway the industry point of view which way we want it. I can't speak much of personal point of view because most anyone who knows me my opinion seems quite skewed compared to most others. Ok, to say it bluntly, I don't find myself comfortable in anything i wear because i don't find myself attractive at all, not even remotely worth a second look. I know many women feel the same way, and many believe new and fancy frame wear can change everything, I understand that finding clothing that fits fine and hugs my figure well is just the beginning of being comfortable with how i look when i see my face in the mirror every morning. At times, just the sight of my silhouette can cause my eyes to tear up. I'm not asking for sympathy or a hand out, I'm just asking for a push into the right current so i can find my own flow. Thanks for all you've done for females across the country, and many thanks for listening.

Sincerely,

Katherine

whats up tyra.first let me start by saying i love your show, your topics are real and happening.i met my wife 7yrs ago and we been married for 5.we have two beautiful daughters 5 and 3.my wife is a dedicated mother, wife and my best friend.shes 27yrs old.she is a hard worker.it would be a great surprise to her if you can help me with giving her a makeover.

HEY TYRA,HOW ARE YOU.I LOVE YOUR SHOW BUT MY WORK SCHEDUAL DONT PERMIT ME TO WATCH IT ,BUT MY HUSBAND RECORDS IT FOR ME THAT WAY I DONT MISS IT.TYRA I MET MY HUSBAND 7 YEARS AGO,A WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND FATHER OF OUR TWO WONDERFUL DAUGHTERS.WE BEEN MARRIED FOR 5 YEARS AND NEVER WENT ON A HONEYMOON DUE TO FINACES.I THINK IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL FOR THE BOTH OF US TO HAVE A VACATION TOGETHER,WE NEVER REALLY BEEN ON A VACATION TOGETHER,AND IF ANYWAY POSSIBLE,I WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP ON SENDING US ON OUR HONEYMOON.IT WOULD REALLY BE A SURPRISE FOR MY HUSBAND.TYRA WE NEED IT.

Hello Tyra, I watched your show about the home makeover for people who really needed it. Well I think my sister Suzanne needs this. She is only four years older than me,but she has raised me and my two brothers our whole lives. My mom is a drunk and would beat on her the most. And Suzanne would keep her from hurting us. She was there to dress me for my prom. She has been there for us not only as a sister but as a mom. She now has two children(3and 1). She lives in a trailer and tries so hard to provide for them. I wish she could have her home made over so she won't be so depressed and stressed out. I think if she lived in a nice looking home things would be better for her. I love my sister. She had to give up her childhood to protect us and raise us kids. Thank you Tyra. I love your show.

Hi Tyra, I'm from South Africa. I am 23 years and I get so jealous when I see people get make-overs. I wish there was a way you could do the same for me. I was born with a big birth mark on my heard, you'd think I was in an accident. But I love it, I would never get rid of it. To make matters worse, when I was 15, I started having strechmarks all over my body. I have them behind my legs, my knees, my thighs, my bum, my back and on my breasts. It's so unsexy. My face has spots all over because it breaks out almost everytime and it's so oily. I have never worn a simming costume in my life. I have cellulite and my body is not firm and toned. I have almost everything you could think of. WHAT CAN I DO?

Hi, Tyra
I want to talk to you because, i need a make over. I always watch your show and i'm always happy when i see people get make overs.I live in Chicago IL. I live with 2 sisters and 1 brother and my mom. My dad lives in michigan. The reason i need a make over is because currently im grow my hair to donate it to people who need it. Right now i think i have enough hair to give away. I want to cut it already but my parents wont let me they want me to grow it out. My hair is thick and curly and so hard to style. But its not just my hair i dress kinda boyish i try to dress girly but my parents and brothers and sisters always think im weird or i have a boyfriend at school(which i dont). So if you could give me a makeover i think i would be able to dress and look better. PLEASE TYRA I NEED A MAKEOVER!!! ♥

Hello to Tyra

I'd like to say that I love to watch Americas Next Top Model. I've watched almost every episode thus far. I don't get to watch your TV show, not for sure when and what channel it comes on on non cable TV. I've read about many things that you do for people and I have to say that you are an inspiration to me very much. My daughters which are 8 and 6 also started watching the show with me. I tell them that you are a go Idol for them. I'm a single mom of # kids 8,7,6 year olds and I've been going threw hards times these last few years and I just wanted you to know that when I watch Americas Next Top Model it makes me feel good towards myself. Maybe one day I could meet you in person. I'm not model material cause I'm short and chunky, but it still inspires me. I was well built and thought with high confidence until I had my kids and I decided to put me on hold for them, which I think is good.

Dear Tyra,
I really want a makeover.
Sometimes I think I'm not pretty enough. Please call me. I think you are very pretty. I'm not that young and pretty.

hi tyra am an africa girl who really enjoys your show. i dont hav much to say but what you do for people is really amazing. you do all the makeovers that i have dreamed of but know i can never have them. who can think of a girl in africa. am a student nurse and think that when you offer free plastic surgery to your people it is really cool. i always wanted it on my breasts because they are really flat. am happy that you do it for others. i always watch your show. get it on girl. love you. bid fan.

Hi Tyra! First let me start off by saying I love your show. I think you are the most down to earth person when it comes to your fans and your viewers. Your topics really hit home and help me a lot. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 28 year old single mom of a 3 year old beautiful little girl and a handsome 10 year old son. I have just recently graduated from college after going off and on for about 10 years. I know that is a long time but things happened that made me stop and go so much like my father being diagnosed with Parkinsons at a young age and my mohter needing help getting his medications straight. Well, I am now getting my life on track. I am trying to enter the work force and dating scene again. I had put off dating so that I could focus on me and my children. When I said no dating I mean none, not even a phone call! Now I feel that my life is ready, I have a promising career as a school teacher but no social life. The one time I did go out my clothes were so out dated that I felt out of place and left. I feel that if I could get a make over from you and your staff that would help me out a tremendously. I would feel more comfortable going out and coming to work. It would just feel good to see myself look my age or close to it. I work at a High School and so often I get mistakened for a student by the Principal and teachers. Which is so embarassing to say the least. My son keeps telling me mom why don't you go anywhere or why are you always home, so I think now is the time. I spend so much of my money dressing them that it is a shame. I hardly ever buy myself anything. I have been trying to fit back into some old dress clothes for work and being that I have gained some weight it can be a sight sometimes. So if you could help me get it together business wise and dating wise I would greatly appreciate it.
You know what Tyra, I also want to put in a request for my mom as well. I know I maybe getting a little bit greedy but I can at least try. She has always sacraficed herself for my family. She doesn't shop for herself she hardly ever buys any clothes and the ones she has are so out dated they need to be recycled. I mean flowered silk shirts and oversized sweatshirts. I really hope if you pick me you can also let my mother come as well. She needs it more than I do. I can't wait to hear from you.

Heyy Tyra!

So instead of wanting a makeover for myself, i think my mom deserves a makeover. Me and mom have always been close until recently. we fight alot because she is a really heavy drinker.she's been through so many hardships and her life and its just one bad day after another. i love her to death and watching her life go to waste kills me. Sometimes i feel like we have nothing in common. i need my mother back in my life, im only 18 and it's always been just me and my dad. i watch your show and see how emotional you get when talking about your mom, and i want to have that emotion towards my mom again. Tyra, my mom is gorgeous underneath the thinning hair and but the alcohol is killing her look fast. i think if she looked better she could lay off the drinking and be more confident. part of the reason she drinks is because she doesn't feel she is pretty enough, and believe me she is underneath, but i want everyone to see that. tyra please makeover my mom, she needs help, and i want my mom back !! thanks =]]

Dear Tyra,
My name is Tiffany and I am a 26yo mom of 2 girls 6&3, not to mention I am the guardian of my sister Brittany who is 16. My mom passed about 2 yrs ago of an unknown death, she was a addict. Due to her addiction I was able to take sole custody of my sister who was 11 at the time. She is my light and inspiration, she has endured alot at such an early age and yet she is a remarkable student, and a joy to all she meets. Brittany is a very pretty girl and I believe she would be a good canidate for a Tyra makeover. Her esteem isn't were it should be and I know that starts from the inside, but Brittany was made fun of for having a lazy eye, and wearing hand-me down clothing when she lived with her dad. He kept her in poor living conditions, they lived in a one room camper that you find attached to the back of a pickup, and he an addict himself never took the role of teaching her about good hygiene. You see something we all take for granted is a place to bath, use the bathroom, look in the mirror. Unfortunately Brittany didn't have that so she would smell at times until a neighbor would allow her to use their bathroom to clean up. Although she is better now I still know that deep down inside she feels like that same little girl that couldn't help her self. Tyra I know you are all about esteem building and motivating women and girls to empower them selves to say "So What".Can you help me in informing my sister in saying I was that little girl that felt ugly, mistreated, and uncared for but "So What" I am a beautiful girl and I have a bright future ahead of me! Thank you Tyra or staff member for reading my letter, even if Brittany isnt considered for a make over canidate I appreciate the time you took out to read my letter.
God bless...Tiffany

I don't want this just for me I want this for my ma also, but she's to proud to submit so I will do this for either myself or both,I am 25 years old and I will never give my ma's age,I know better!! LOL Long story short we deserve it,we could make our story into 8 shows,I'm glad we are both strong women on the inside and out

thanks

Hi Tyra!!!! I love your show I watch it everyday and love what you are putting out to the world and to all women giving them hope, confidence and so much support and just I love how you are one of those people who truly love what you are doing and that is helping people. For that I admire you, you have become a hero to me.
But that’s not why im here Tyra. I'm here for my mother, she is one of the most amazing woman you'll ever meet she is kind, she loves to help people, she is the type that never quits! She is a fulltime mom tackling the job of being mother with also a business between my father and her. Since I was little she has been one of those mothers that are involved do everything and anything she can for her children. Tyra she used to Knit little things for every holiday like pumpkins, snowmen, and hearts for my classes and make candy bags that match for everyone every ear and she did it for all three of her children she would stay up all night making about 100 things for us and our class. I love how creative and thoughtful she is but for the past 10 yrs it has been hard for us. She was a stay at home mom and since my father was always working she did everything by herself until my father one day surprised us all and bought her their first home. After that my father opened his own business and my mother helped my father while still being a full time mom going to all of our band concerts our volley ball and sports events awards assemblies you name it she was there! Business was good for my parents and they began to remodel our home and a lot was finished but since our home was so old it needed a lot of work so my parents never got to finished it just put all their attention on their three children and what ever we wanted my mother worked hard to make sure we got it! She even scratched up money working all day doing whatever she could to send my brother and me to EUROPE one summer for a school trip! Which was amazing and we had the time of our lives.
But like always it doesn’t last. The landlord renting the property for my fathers business sold the property and the new owner kicked my parents out. That’s when every turned to the worst and it’s been a huge struggle on my parents especially for my mother. She has taken on the world on her own struggling with her marriage taking on a rocky road, business not doing so well, constantly in fear of losing her home until recently my grandmother paid the remanding balance to help her because everyone sees the stress on her and what she is going through financially. So in the times of heartache I want to give her something to help put I light in her life and to let her know everything is going to be ok and Tyra writing this and knowing what has been going on brings me to tears and I want to ask you to help me help my mom and giver something back for all the things she has sacrificed and done for us and that is to help finish remolding our home and giving her a place of sanctuary from what all life brings. I know it would make her so happy to have a finished home to come to and to see her smile again and know that she is truly happy! Can you help me Tyra?
