Hi Tyra, I could use your help. First all I'm a mom of 4, maried three tears ago. My husband has three kids, I have one at home. ages 7,8,13,15. Ijust turned fifty on the 7. I'm in that change of life and it is hard to adjust to. I never buy for my self especially clothes. I'm out of date and feel down. My husband really tries hard to understand the mood changes. I could use a make over. Being my computer broke down and I half to go to the library to use their computer. when i not able to see your show I go to your site. I really do not have a sad story as to why I would love a makeover tailored by Tyra. But I think it is just time for a new look I have just graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. I obtained this degree on May 12,2007 and I was blessed to be offered a job making decent money straight out of college without any experience in my field on October 1,2007. I will be 25 years old November 13th and I am striving to be grown and sexy. I mean I am cute right now but I would like to go from a young adult cute to a fierce woman. Hi Tyra, love your show. You are beautiful as well as talanted. I normally don't do this but Ijust finished watching your show on Tailored by Tyra and it inspired me to hey, lets post a comment and see what happens. I'm actually asking for my husband. He has an office that I had remodeled for him when he was away in AZ working and if you see it now, you wouldn't even know it's an office. My husband is what you call "Old School". He has pictures that covers one side of the wall and when I say Old School, I truly mean Old School....it has been 10 yrs. since I've met him and he had pictures on walls even back than. There are papers everywhere, I tried to help him organize but I don't believe that its possible. I know that this comment doesn't sound like a moving or heartfelt story but in all reality, my husband has a heart of gold. When I say a heart of gold I mean, in the 3 places that we have lived, we have always housed family or friends that are in need. Even as of today, we have a 4 bedroom home and living here is myself, my husband, my daughter, his daughter, her 2 kids, and 2 of his friends that are in need of a place to stay. Another example would be that if someone came up to him and needed some money and all he has is $5, he will give it to them. It wouldn't be so bad if we were in a better financial situration but infortunately, that is not the case. Last example, he still speaks and does for a friend of his that stole all his money out of his bank account because they were business partners and left my husband with nothing. I love my husband and I believe that his heart of gold was the reason why I fell in love with him. I used to believe that good Karma will come back around on my husband for the things that he has done in the 10 yrs that I have known him but so far, it seems like he is giving, giving, and giving and nothing back in return. He tells me all the time that it will come even if it comes while he is long and gone but it will definately come. Anyway, long story short, I would just like something good to happen to him while he is still here so that he can enjoy it.

My name is Alicia. I am a 22 year old mother of two. A six year old and a 9 month old .(Both are beutiful little girls)
I think I am in desperate need of a makeover. Now I am not down right ugly or anything but I have just really lost myself , confidence , my personality,....me!
Almost three years ago I lost my best friend who was also my brother. He was my strength . When he was here I was always a happy go lucky person . I was always smiling . It was a chore to get me to stop smiling and now I am the opposite. I have forgotten what it is like to laugh . Six months after Josh died my younger brother was in a horriffic accident and he was left for dead , but, he fought through it . Now my whole family lives have turned upside down and we are constantly saddened by this . He is 19 years old and he will never drive again due to the fact that he is almost completely blind, and he is partially paralyzed on the left side.
It just breaks my heart .
I am just in constant worry all the time and it has taken a real toll on the way I look . I think I look older than what I am .
I hate it !!
My mom even said a while ago that she seen a few grey hairs on my head !! How embarrassing!!
I am only 22 is that supposed to happen?
I kind of feel really selfish for asking for this gift . My whole family has struggled especially my mom and dad.
I can't even imagine the pain they went through losing their 21 year old son so suddenly.
So now I worry about everyone constantly .
I keep wondering which loved ones are going to die next . I don't know how to fix this , but , my husband hates my constant paranoia! He just thinks it should disappear , but , when the first person I ever knew that died had to be my brother it is kind of hard to just get over the worry. I just want to smile again . I want to feel good . Tyra maybe you can't help me or my family , but sometimes it is just nice thinking that someone like you would even listen to someone like me !!

hello tyra,i have been in love with you for years . i've looked up to you in so many ways but my looks just kill the whole vibe. i'm 27 and i work full time 3rd shift and been on my own for a long time. my problems are the fact that i lost all my hair at the age of 19 and been wearing hair tracks which make me insecure since i dont have enough money to afford real hair so it kinks up fast,and everybody knows i wear it . As well as i still have all my baby teeth and they are rotting out which makes it impossible to smile. these two things makes it hard for me to do anything, i 'm so insecure to the point i don't try to meet new people and infact cut myself off from old friends and family. i've always had a problem with my looks but now it's to hard to deal with. i don't even like to go to work since i have to deal with the public and alot of customers make fun of my teeth. i just don't have the money to take care of the problems, and i don't know what to do...

Anyway, I saw that you were offering makeovers and I got excited! This request is not for myself. I'm actually requesting it for my sister. She has always talked about how she would want a makeover and has joked about how I should enter her for one.
