Hello Tyra! My name is Tanisha and I am from a small town called Knightdale in North Carolina. It is about 15 minutes from Raleigh North Carolina. I first would like to thank you for opening up a talk show dealing a lot with girls and young women. I am writing you to tell you that I am in dying need of a big wish. Well to others it may not seem that big but it means a lot to me. See my boyfriend was depoloyed for 18 months and he came home in June of 2007. Well our relationship has been kind of rocky since. Well not really but I tell you Tyra these little hussies wont stay off of my man. I mean I know that he is fresh and everything (always has the hottest gear) but dang he is practically married so back off. My boyfriend and I have known each other for a long time. We started courting about four years after being friends. But the person that I once knew was a sweet and nice man but at the same time just couldnt lay off of the ladies. I mean dont get me wrong Tyra he is a good man and their are many many many different things I love about him. So when we started courting things were a little rocky between us. I was head over hills for him and at the beginning he just wanted to play patty cake if you know what I mean. He wasnt all into the relationship like I was he still loved being loved by other women. I mean NO he wouldnt sleep with any but things werent at their best either. Not even three months into our relationship was he deployed. Things were good the first three months but something happened and things between us got short. I mean we would argue and just do things to make one another mad. Well I went off to college and thats when things picked back up again. When he came home things were good then too but those damn hussies just wont lay off my man. I mean he really does show them no love but at the same time I feel like they wouldnt be coming on to him if he wasnt provoking it. I mean my man is good Tyra though. He is responsible, loving in all needs. careful, sincere, always helpful to all, fun, great advisor, honest even if it does hurt your feelings and more. Its so much great in him but when it comes to other women I beleive he gets a little too comfortable. He doesnt go and just cheat but he tries to comfort other women by words and the chose of words arent always the best. People say that I am a Plain Jane Tyra and I would like your help to transfer into something better, new and outstanding. I mean our since of style are so different he like all the name brand gear and when we go out and a girl has on name brand he would say " Why dont you wear something like this or that" I get sick of it Tyra. I am pretty basic I dont get all jazzy but on special occasions. So what I am asking if Tyra pleassssssssssssssssssseeee can you help me transfer into that more attrative woman that man wants to see. This letter is hard for me , but I want to do this because it is you. I lost my job a couple of months ago due to illness (depression, panic disorder, dehydration and mental and physical exhashtion) and have no income. I have been beaten down all my life and cannot seem to see any brightness in my future. My life, my body and my self-esteem are so bad that I have start seeing a counslor and a psychiatrist to help me. Watch your show is the one thing I look forward to. I feel a closeness to you and what you are doing for people. You are truely a warm, wonderful and giving person. I would love to meet you and possibly have a makeover with you because I feel so bad about how I look and feel and I think you are a person that I could feel comfortable with and a person that I could learn from. TYRA! I love your shows, I think your better and more relate able than Oprah! I watch you on TV just about everyday! I love your talk show & ANTM! I follow every cycle. My favorite episodes of ANTM is when it is make over day! And let just say I sympathize with Jay when he gets frustrated with the girls who cry and whine that they look so different, when i think they all just look fabulous! Now I don't want to be a model, but I wish I could be on that show just for the makeover day. I think you know your style and I wish I could have my plain jane look transformed by you! I have been told that I have model features (high cheek bones, long neck, and deep eyes), but I don't have the confidence, figure, or style of one. I am 25 years old and I'm finally starting to love and know who I am. I still don't spend a lot of time taking care of the way that I look. I have always wanted to shine, but at the same time I recess and hide. I'm working on feeling comfortable in my skin... I'm still not completely there, but I've come a long way. I'm gonna try to keep this short. I will be turning 30 in six months. I have always been intrigued by the modeling industry and I have been in two commercials and won two pageants. I have always been fun and outgoing however, I seem to be in a HUGE rut. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. And I work About 1700 feet under the gound(a mine)in a records facility where we do background checks. I feel sad that I never tried to persue a modeling career. It was a dream of mine and I really have no exuse other than my family and my husband(which would support me no matter what). This is the path I chose and I am happy for the most part. Time went so fast. So I want my 30's to be awesome. My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a bar/resaurant(my husband's dream) and I need a new look. I feel pretty drabby. I want a makeover by professionals that know what look is best for my face/body (mainly hair and makeup). I want to look smashing for our grand opening. I want to stand out in the crowd.
