Hi Tyra! My name is Tami, I'm 46 years old, I have 3 grown children. Until I was about 20 I had an average size body, I gained 65 pounds with my first child and 3 months after he was born I was pregnant with my second child, two years later I had my third child. I've always had a poochy stomach( I caught on fire when I was five and lost all the elactisity in my stomach) which I've always hated but after 3 children it was worse. I've tried Gyms , excersise, firming creams, ect... nothing has worked! I have always wanted a flat stomach, no matter how thin I've been I've always had the pooch! I have battled alot of things in my life, from being a widow, to being a single mom and my most recent battle was overcoming my alcoholism. I will graduate from The Life Builders program in March 2008, a Faith based program for addictions.This has been the most challenging battle I have ever had to deal with! I had to learn to face my feelings as well as the people I effected in my addiction. Through the proccess I have gained about 55 pounds, maybe alittle more. I feel great about the inner me now, I would love a new me on the out side. I currently live in transitional housing that allows me to stay for up to 2 years. I can work save money and for once be a productive women in my community. I am currently inrolled in college to attain a BS in Social Science. I beleive that I need to give back what has been given to me, with all my life experiences I know that I can help other women(teaching prevention would be a blessing!) I havent had a drink, a cigarette, or a date in almost 2 years. God has got me through a great deal of emotional healing, and unless He plans on doing a complete physical transformation, I'm going to need some help, Tyra can you help me to feel sexy and desirable again? I NEED YOUR HELP TYRA!! We are expecting our first child - due Valentine's Day 2008 - and I am completely clueless when it comes to designing a nursery. In a show you did about room makeovers (Tailored by Tyra but it was interior design instead of makeovers), you did one for a girl who had lost her mom. Her mom had a pretty Chanel coat that you were debating on cutting up. By the way, that room turned out totally incredible! Anyway, that's the show where I got the idea to email you. I DESPERATLEY NEED YOUR HELP DESIGNING A BABY ROOM FOR OUR LITTLE GIRL! I have until Feb. 2008 to get this accomplished.

You are a very good person and to me you are the only real honest talk show host there has ever been.Your always helping people and you put a smile on many peoples face just by being who you are. I also am writing regarding a personal issue as well that I thought you may be able to help me with. I am a 37 yr.old single mother, but I have had & still am having a rough life. I am a survivor of a brutal viloent crime. I was raped & stabbed 19 times & left for dead. My attacker was caught & sentenced to 105 yrs. and only served 18 years. Ten days after his release last year I suffered a ceberal anurysm due to the mutiple stab wounds in my head and the stress of his unexspected release. I suffer from post dramatic stress disorder amoungst a few other things. I am very insecure about all of my scars all over my body and my teeth that have started to deteriate over the years due to my fears as well as exspence of dentistry. I was wondering if you could help me feel more like a lady and not be so ashamed to go out due to my smile. If you can help me I would greatly apprecite it & if not I will understand. I am so proud of you and your accomplishments. You are so real, down to earth and genuine. Your concern for people is such a unique quality for someone with your success. She is overweight and needless to say her self esteem is so low it scares me. When I look at her I feel her pain and have cried many a day because I just don't know how to help her. Wow i never did this befor,but i watch ur show everday.Oh and americas top model I LOVE IT OMG OMG its the best show everrrrr.Well i wanted to ask u of the biggest fav. ever..wait first listen to my life story. Well i was born in Bosnia, i have a older sister, we both grew up in a war, i was born in the war, but my sis was 3. My parents NEVER got along so my mom ended up moveing to America wit me only because my father did not let my sister go with us. My mom left cause my father was a (still is) and alcholc and BIG time smoker. So we came to America it was only my mom and i, she heard that my father was a good guy that he preyed and he only drank tea, so she ended up sending him papers to come ot America, so he came and was good for like 2 weeks and then started drinking and being reall bad. So one day when i was in the 1st grade my father got mad at my mom cause (she did not wanna make him happyy lol) so he said that he was going to take my sis and i back to bosnia, but later that night he heard my mom talking to my sis that she did not have to go then both i and my sis would stay wit our mom, and he heard her say that so he came out of the room and started hiting her and put a nife on her neck and i was in 1st grade and i saw all of this FINALLY I TOLD HIM STOP a kid in 1st grade ya i know wow.....form that day my sis went to live wit our father and i was home alone doing everthing i could and my mom was working 2jobs for us...till this day she is working 2 jobs and only sleeps 6hours a day and ONLY has saturday and sunday off(somethings but she is looking for a 3rd job) i am telling her mom no its ok i will get one this year, and like now that my sis lives wit us (well she used to live back and fort,but now she lives wit us) she has a job. My father moved out of chicago wit this lady and she has 3kids that are not his and he takes care of them not his own kids. Ya so i wanted to ask you if you could give my mom a day where she can just have fun bcause she never has time for her-self any more AT all ...if only i could tell you what i have been threw you would be suprized but if you heard my moms life i think yoou would cry... thxs i understand if u cant do it but it would mean so much to me OMG u have no idea NO IDEA... thx love Amela

Hay Tyra, I must say you are one a million. Not to many beautiful black females reveal so much about themselves in public as you do. The one thing I love about you is how you make all people feel special about themselves no matter how they look or how they are shaped or if they are obese or skiny, short or tall. You have shows that cover all areas in life that most talk shows would never mention. I am 38 yrs old and I have lost weight my main problem is to recognize that I have lost weight and refuse to buy clothes that are my size. I am not the slimmest in the world but compared to what I was a size 26 and now I am a size 14 or 16 it is a lot better. My coworkers try to tell me that I need to start trying on my clothes before I buy them because they feel I could go a size smaller. I disagree. I missed your show on SCREW THE SCALE and I believe you may have talked about how to buy jeans. I hope someday I can get good advice on how to buy my clothes so they will not be to baggy or a little big. But for now I would like some good fashion tips for a 38 yr old Accountant Administrator. I have seen you work miracles. I have also wanted fake eyelashes but to scared. I have never worn makeup in my life and my hair is plain. I hope oneday I could have the confidence you have. Hi Tyra, my name is Hillary and I would say that I'm one of your biggest fans, but this message isn't for me. My mom is the most amazing person on the planet. She gives and gives and all I want is to be able to give something back to her. My whole life her and my dad have went without so that my brother and I wouldnt have to. Her whole life she was really thin. When she got married she was a size 2 about 4 years later she was diagnosed with sarcoidosis. She had to go on staroids for 6 months and gained a lot of weight. Through the years she has gotten heavier and it breaks her heart. She tries to loose the weight but it just wont come off. I tell her all the time that she is beautiful but she just thinks she is fat. She sees herself as being A LOT heavier than she really is. I think I makeover would booster her selfesteem so much. Well to others it may not seem that big but it means a lot to me. See my boyfriend was depoloyed for 18 months and he came home in June of 2007. Well our relationship has been kind of rocky since. Well not really but I tell you Tyra these little hussies wont stay off of my man. I mean I know that he is fresh and everything (always has the hottest gear) but dang he is practically married so back off. My boyfriend and I have known each other for a long time. We started courting about four years after being friends. But the person that I once knew was a sweet and nice man but at the same time just couldnt lay off of the ladies. I mean dont get me wrong Tyra he is a good man and their are many many many different things I love about him. So when we started courting things were a little rocky between us. I was head over hills for him and at the beginning he just wanted to play patty cake if you know what I mean. He wasnt all into the relationship like I was he still loved being loved by other women. I mean NO he wouldnt sleep with any but things werent at their best either. Not even three months into our relationship was he deployed. Things were good the first three months but something happened and things between us got short. I mean we would argue and just do things to make one another mad. Well I went off to college and thats when things picked back up again. When he came home things were good then too but those damn hussies just wont lay off my man. Things were good the first three months but something happened and things between us got short. I mean we would argue and just do things to make one another mad. Well I went off to college and thats when things picked back up again. When he came home things were good then too but those damn hussies just wont lay off my man. I mean he really does show them no love but at the same time I feel like they wouldnt be coming on to him if he wasnt provoking it. I mean my man is good Tyra though. He is responsible, loving in all needs. careful, sincere, always helpful to all, fun, great advisor, honest even if it does hurt your feelings and more. Its so much great in him but when it comes to other women I beleive he gets a little too comfortable. He doesnt go and just cheat but he tries to comfort other women by words and the chose of words arent always the best. People say that I am a Plain Jane Tyra and I would like your help to transfer into something better, new and outstanding. I mean our since of style are so different he like all the name brand gear and when we go out and a girl has on name brand he would say " Why dont you wear something like this or that" I get sick of it Tyra. I am pretty basic I dont get all jazzy but on special occasions. So what I am asking if Tyra pleassssssssssssssssssseeee can you help me transfer into that more attrative woman that man wants to see.
