Hi Tyra, I am a writing to ask for a simple makeover. I am a 30 year old mother of two beautiful girls and wife. Last year, I was diagnosed with Lupus. There are many symptoms associated with this disease, one of which is hair loss. This causes me to feel like I am unattractive dispite what my coworkers and family say. Hi Tyra, I am 23 years old and I have a question or should I say a favor to ask of you. I was in prison from 2004 till 2006, I have been home and doing really good. I met the most wonderful guy, I had a baby who is the love of my life, but my apperance has totaly gone down the drain. Being in prison then having a baby , none of my clothes fit anymore, I am not working at the moment so I sit around in my P.J.'s all day. It's bad, I shower and put on more P.J.s , I would love to have a new professional look so that I could get a good job, but the money is just not available. But more than fixing myself up I would love for my mom to have a makeover by you. She is 41 years old and has Behcet's Disease. It is an auto-imune disease. I have put her through so much and she is so wonderful and loving. She has me, my brother who is 21 who has Protyeous Syndrome, and she adopted my brother who is 9 and my sister who is 5. She is fixing to move to Nashville to pursue her dreams, she is a song writter, and I feel she needs a makeover for it, and she wont do it for herself. That is my wish for her and myself. The doctor recently told her that with in the next few years she could possibly need a wheelchair or walker. So needless to say she has been kind of down and out. I would love it if you could do a Mother Daughter makeover but would also be very happy if you could just do it for my mother, She has done so much for me and stuck by my side through alot, this is the least I owe her. Thank You so much for being such a positive influence on young women today, they really need that in their lives.

Hello Tyra! I have been a fan of yours for a long time and I really admire you and what you do. I watch Top Model every week because of it's insight to the modeling industry and how it helps girls' dreams come true. Of course, one of my favorite Top Model episodes of the season is the makeover episode. I would love it so much to have a makeover (or at least suggestions) of my own so that I can look and feel as beautiful and confident as every girl should. Thank you so much for all that you do! I'd like to tell you just a little something about one of my co-workers and closest friends, Margaret.

Margaret is in a class by herself. Her biggest fashion faux pas is her "straight outta the 80's, Pat Benatar, wanna be in the 2000's, two/three tone" mullet! Margaret insists on coloring and cutting her own hair. Although we at work love her dearly, she is the only one who thinks that is a good idea. LOL.

Margaret is the shipping supervisor at a digital media company in Manhattan. She is the only woman in her entire department. Margaret's wardrobe is strictly sweats, sneakers, sweaters, and hats...and did I mention she's always in black! I recently got married and Margaret came...in pants...black ones! Although she is very beautiful, she lacks femininity and confidence.

Ever since her dad passed away 2 years ago, Margaret has been in a slump. She has let herself go. Margaret has been single since I can remember and we've known each other for about 7 years. She comes across as a very no-nonsense, hard exterior kind of gal, but she is actually a very gentle, generous soul. Margaret never thinks of herself. She provides for her family (sis, mom, niece and nephew) and she is their rock. She supports them and cares for them and never does anything nice for herself. Margaret needs to put herself out there and give herself a chance to live and love. I love her dearly and know she deserves to be happy and needs fun in her life. She is 43 years old and not getting any younger! I'd love to see her glammed up and in a dress for a change!
