Hi Tyra, I am an 50 yr. old lady who don't feel old anymore! I am a breast cancer survior who had a stroke 8 yrs ago. I moved to a smaller town when I had my stroke so I could be with my mother. My mother passed and before she left put a lot in me to maintain my therapy and hope. It took me awhile but with the grace of God I finally am able to return to Cleveland and start to rebuild my life. I started college and have a future planned. But no one to share this with. I hope you can help me to get a makeover and meet someone nice. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Tyra,
I would love to have a makeover. I will be turning the dreaded 5-0 next month. I still have the 70's hairstyle. I am overweight and I just want to learn how to feel good about myself. I am a single mom raising a special needs child with severe mental health issues. It has drained me physcially, finanacially and emotionally. I really need something for me for once. It is bad enough turning 50, but I don't want to look like it!!! SOS!!
Thank you!

Tyra I love your show, and I absolutely love your sense of fashion, so I would be by no means afraid to put myself completely in your hands (hands of your staff that is) for a makeover.
I'm 32, I have a 10 year old daughter, and after a very difficult pregnancy, a one year old chubby little girl. Needless to say, The baby weight from my first daughter is still hanging around (yuck that sounds horrible doesn't it?). I'm in the process of trying to get rid of some of this weight, you know, new year's resolution kind of stuff. If I get chosen, well then all the more reason to loose the weight, and by then I'll really need the makeover don't you think???
Love you !!

Hey Tyra!
I'm a 15 year-old freshman, and I really want to look good. I would love to be a model, but I think the way I'm looking now is just attracting guys. They think I'm hot, not beautiful. I want to be gorgeous and sexy and classy. Please make me over! I want to clarify my look, and make it so I get respect, not just whistles. You are my rolemodel Tyra, and I would love to be just like you!
Thank you!

Hi Tyra!
I love your show and I have also been a Top Model Fan since cycle 1. One of my favorite top model shows has always been the makeover week, you do SUCH an amazing job of deciding the look of each girl and they all always look amazing!!! Anyway, I have always wanted you to give me some makeover advice, haircut etc. I am sure that you get thousands of these requests, but I would REALLY appreciate it. I would cut my hair/do whatever you requested! I always dreamed of being a model, since about the 2nd grade, but unfortunatley I stopped growing at 5'5"! :) I had my first baby in 2007 and haven't been able to loose the 25 lbs of baby weight, as a formerly naturally skinny girl I am having a hard time adjusting to my newfound size and I am not sure how to dress my fuller body and face! My self image is definetly struggling as I re-adjust my view of myself, PLEASE help me. I have NEVER written a letter like this before, I am generally the kind of woman who doesn't ask for help or charity, I grew up with a single mom who didn't condone that kind of thing, but I would REALLY apprecite your help! Thanks and keep up all your good work! I am so happy that your show has been so successful and I love your natural girl talk ways!

Dear Tyra,
weell . im 15 and i just finished watching your show and you had tailored a girls room and your dressingroom and office. and at the end as you already know write about a story for who you think needs a house makeover, well i know my house doesnt have much just the basics like a couch and etc.. but thats okay I learn to deal with but, its really my mother i want to have something shes worrrking so hard for me and my sister. and recently has to work late night shifts and doesnt come home tell 1 in the morning . so in the morning i get me and my sister ready for school and take her ot her bus stop, while my mothers sleeps soo i never realy get to see her all week.. but the main consern is what she sleeps on . she sleeps on a fouton cushion( for for my poor poor spelling ) on the floor . while me and my 7 year old sister have both our own beds and box spring.. see,i was thinking of getting a job to save up for a mattress and a box spring and a bed frame for her . but im unable to get a job because i have to watch my sister right after school and on weekend most of the time making it impossible for me to work. because my mother cannot affort a babysitter . soo basically tyra.. i rather just have my mom have a nice bed set for her because i believe she works so hard us. and i feel bad sometimes that she just has to come home and sleep on that. just a bed would be nice =]

Hii Tyra,
My name is Millicent. I am a proud mother of two adorable girls Jasmine 5 and Tiffany 2.I am responding to this email because I would be honored if you would pick me for a makeover. The year 2007 was a difficult time for me. I had alot of ups and downs but I never gave up. I decided to go back to school for my Graduate program and hope to graduate in August so that I can provide my family with a better future. I am happy and know that I made the right choice.A makeover from you would be a good morale booster and an honor because of what you represent about women.I love watching Americas Top Model because compared to alot of shows its classy and it does not dimean the image of women. Also it teaches the girls in the show alot more than just basic education , morals, team effort just to name a few. Thank you foryour time.

Dear Tyra,
I saw your "Tailored by Tyra Show" and was impressed and inspired by your show. I'm writing to you in hope that you would be interested in my story. On Oct. 2006 my boyfriend, Chris and I bought our first home and we both had so many plans for our home but a few months later,as a result of diabetes, I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease and was started on dialysis. My disablity made it very difficult for me to continue working and I eventually quit my job. Chris is now carrying all the expenses (mortgage, utilities, medical bills and prescriptions and my personal bills) by himself and the plans we had for our home came to a halt not only because we really can't afford it but because Chris is always working and he really doesn't have the time. I would love to make our home a beautiful place he can come home to after working so hard. He does so much to take care of me. Can you help me?

Dear Miss Tyra,
hi miss Tyra. I'm Yvette from the philippines... i really watch your show a lot because it helps me a lot in improving myself. one of the episode i really wait on to see is the "tailored by tyra". actually i am not the one who i would like you to do a make over, it is my sister karen. she's a very good sister to me... i know that sometimes she envy me because i have a better skin, though she never say, i can feel it in my heart. She has a low self esteem because she thought that it is because of her skin that is why she never had a botfriend ever. Now she's turning 21 this january 24 and about to graduate this coming april. i really love to help her but unfortunately i don't know how, until i have watched your show. i love my sister and i want her to be more confident about herself especially now she is about to graduate and eventually going to find her job. i hope this letter would reach you and i know that your the only person we could run too... i hope i can see more smile on her face like the guest tou help... thank you very much in advance godbless you and your show always.

Hello Tyra,
Wow I can't believe I am actually writing to you.I always watch your t.v. show,I remember when u were on the fresh prince.I even watch the re-runsof the tyra show.I love what your doing to help children and young teens, and also making family's dreams come true.Me and my best friend love top model we will call eachother when it comes on and I will go over to her place to watch it so we can discuss who we want to win, well enough of that.I am 28yrs old just turn that on the 5th of january.I moved back in with my mother to help her with bills, because basically,I am all she has and I don't want to see her out on the street. My father died a couple of year's ago and we have been struggling every since. So in the process I lost my home to save her's.I moved from my own 2bed room home to my mom's den,it's not heated in that part of the house.I basically pray that summer comes quick so I won't freeze to death.I brought a heater, but they make the light bill so high.I have no private space, because there are no doors to the den,so I have to put sheets up to have my own private space. It just seems like I can't win for losing.I just had a miscarriage on my mom's birthday which i am still dealing with.My car died on me.I am making ends meat with two part time jobs that don't pay enough for what I do each and everyday,Tyra I don't know what to do.I believe I need a Room makeover, maybe that will get me motivated.I just started going back to church to lift my hopes and spirits up.So I know u are busy I hope u get this. Thanks Tyra
much love

Dear Tyra,
weell . im 15 and i just finished watching your show and you had tailored a girls room and your dressingroom and office. and at the end as you already know write about a story for who you think needs a house makeover, well i know my house doesnt have much just the basics like a couch and etc.. but thats okay I learn to deal with but, its really my mother i want to have something shes worrrking so hard for me and my sister. and recently has to work late night shifts and doesnt come home tell 1 in the morning . so in the morning i get me and my sister ready for school and take her ot her bus stop, while my mothers sleeps soo i never realy get to see her all week.. but the main consern is what she sleeps on . she sleeps on a fouton cushion( for for my poor poor spelling ) on the floor . while me and my 7 year old sister have both our own beds and box spring.. see,i was thinking of getting a job to save up for a mattress and a box spring and a bed frame for her . but im unable to get a job because i have to watch my sister right after school and on weekend most of the time making it impossible for me to work. because my mother cannot affort a babysitter . soo basically tyra.. i rather just have my mom have a nice bed set for her because i believe she works so hard us. and i feel bad sometimes that she just has to come home and sleep on that. just a bed would be nice =]

Hii Tyra,
My name is Millicent.
Millie

Dear Tyra,
I saw your "Tailored by Tyra Show" and was impressed and inspired by your show.

Thanks Tyra
much love
