Hey Tyra!
My name is Ashanta and of course I am a fan! I desire a hair makeover because I have natural long hair, but I don't know what to do with it. Most of the time I straighten it or wear it in a ponytail. I absolutely do not want to cut my hair. I just want some tips or a makeover to show me how to rock my hair.
Love ya,
Ashanta

Hi Tyra,
I want to write you and say I love the Tyra Show. You always bring up issues that concern me and topics I enjoy watching. I'm a 27yr old single mother of two beautiful girls (3yrs old and 6 months old). I watched your show today 2/25 and it really hit home with me. Being a black woman and a single mother I've found it very hard to find a good black men. I was with my girls father for 2 years but left after he cheated on me.
After having my second daughter I haven't been able to loose the weight I gained. I work out 3 days a week and eat right but I still can't loose this extra weight. I feel beautiful and blessed but would love a makeover to regain some confidence and look like I did before kids. All of my energy goes to my girls and being a good mother. I see the relationship you have with your mother and I hope to have one like that with my girls.
I haven't had a chance to get my hair done or go shopping for myself in over a year and I would love the chance to spend some time on me. I love fashion and do my best but I'm not use to dressing this new body, 40lbs heavier. I'd like some tips and tricks for hiding some areas and enhancing others. I think your great so who better to get a makeover from than you?

Hi tyra.. i watch your show faithfully as well as ANTM... i even have my boyfriend in here acting like he on the panel!! you are a role model to many and an inspiration to me.I am not what they say model material but i believe that i am one of a kind and i exude self confidence. tyra let me tell you girl. now I am 19 years old and i recently had my baby in November.. She is my life. of course i gained weight and now im feeling a little less than wanted.maybe im overreacting but i feel like my boyfriend is looking at other girls, like he doesnt want me anymore, like he cheats on me with the women at his job.. he has never cheated on me before and he tries everything in his power to make me feel special and convince me of something i already know. but despite his attempts, i still give him trouble. he tried to set up an appointment with a psych. because he said i am losing my mind! .some people say that your eyes are the window to your soul, but i believe my hair is the path to my heart. When I have a good weave, i feel unstoppable. i would love to have a weave like yours. i Praise your hair stlyist to the extreme. I would be utterly grateful if you would give me a makeover Tyra!! I'm really not sure where to write for this but I really need some help. I'm not posting for me but for my mother. I watch your show pretty much everday and I know how much your mother means to you. You of all people understand how vital a mother is in a young womans life. My mother is the single most important person in my life. She is so selfless and so loving and it seems like I can never truly thank her for everyhting she does for me and my sisters. All of my mothers life has been very rough. She has been through alot of abuse, and although she is a very strong woman it seems that she doesn't really know how awesome she is. All her life she has nevr felt like the beautiful woman that she is. She is now overwieght but even when she was young and thin she had a self esteem problem. My mother feels very worthless and very unattractive all the time. ALthough she is very beautiful she can't afford nice clothes that fit her or nice shoes and nice hair products. She can't afford to do things for her self because every penny spent goes to me and my sisters. She even feels bad when she buys a bra for herself!! I want my mother to feel proud of who she is and proud of everything she does for those around her. Tyra, I know that someone can not be completely fixed all at once but I beleive that if my mother was given a chance to look beuatiful it would be a start. She is a single mom and she is all I have. If she's down then our whole family unit is down. I know that people write in all the time and you are a very busy person what with doing the Tyra show and ANTM but I need some help. My mom deserves so much and i beleive that you and your show is the best place to go to for this problem. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hey Tyra,
My husband is currently serving in Iraq and I want to knock him off his feet when I pick him up from the airport. I know that my husband loves me no matter what I look like but for once in my life I want to be more than his "cute" wife, not that there is anything wrong with being cute, but I want to be his BEAUTIFUL wife. I am a plus size, short woman who stuggles with finding the style that is most flattering to my full figure. For the most part I am always seen in p.j.'s or my husbands Navy issued sweat suits because that is what is comfortable and honestly what I feel fits the best. I also want to brake away and show him that there is more to me than my bed time attire. Please help because like I said, I want to be that BEAUTIFUL woman for my husbands special homecomming.
Love,

Tyra,
I am a 27 year old single mother to a beautiful 16 month old boy. My husband left us last year for a teenage girl, and has left more pain than I ever thought possible. We had been together for almost 10 years, 5 of which we were married. It was our dream to have children and after 3 years of trying to get pregnant, we finally received the good news. Who knew that a little over a year later, he would abandon me and my son for another woman. I work 2 jobs so that I can provide a great life for my son. God knows he deserves the best of everything. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here today. I am really trying to get through this so that I can move on and find happiness, but because of what my ex did to me my self-esteem is ruined. I hate my body!!! I see myself as fat and ugly and I think people must see me that way too. I want to put all the pain and misery behind me so that I can move on and find someone who can give me and my son what we both deserve. I want a fresh start. I think if I felt better about myself, then I would be more confident and more able to start dating again. Thanks Tyra and God bless!

HEYA TYRA!
I enjoy your show but sadly, i don't get to watch it much because i started university however, i do get to record some of your shows. Well, i'm sure you heard it all about how ugly girls think they are but i feel everyone is b-u-t-ful no matter what their flaws are. I guess everyones has them, including me! I am happy with the way i am and how my parents brought me up BUT, here goes, I have a terrible acne/marks problem. I can't even waer sleeveless/strappy tops especially now when it,s summer. You know how our African summers are. HOT, HOT, HOT! It gives me a low self-esteem and brings down my bubbly personality. I would reeeaaallly appreciate it if you could help because i'v watched how you perform miracles with whoever you come into contact with. And i must compliment your extraordindary team and whoever helps you get things sorted. They are really something. Thank you so much.

hi tyra
i am 29. scared of 30. i have recently reconciled with my husband of 8 years. i have 2 children 6 and 11. i was very overweight as a child and adult. i lost alot of weight in 98 and i have started to gain some back. i am scared to be over weight again. i have had the same hair since like 99. only i have had every color in the rainbow. i cant seem to get the red out. my husband and i have worked really hard on us for our kids. and after being seperated for a year. i know that he is the man for me (besides my 7 sisters said they wont accept any one else anyway). but i love him very much. he is hard working and an execelent father. i want to show him another side of me. i want to be a sexy salsa dancer. he is mexican and loves to dance. i dont dance. i would love to but i cant. i have bought the carmen electra striptease and a salsa for idiots dvd but i just cant get it. our anniversary is in august i would like to surprise him by taking him out to dinner and doing a sexy salsa dance with him. i need help and we just cant afford dance classes. i am a housewife and he makes all the income that comes into the house i want it to be a surprise. plz help tyra

Tyra,
I am a 27 year old single mother to a beautiful 16 month old boy.

Hi Tyra,
My name is Harvani and live in Toronto, omg i love your shows i really loved the one you where talking to all thoes kids who have been getting bully online .That eposied really touched my heart cause i know how it feels and it hurts alot i have also been threw that. But know am in grade 11 and everything is going fine no body bugs me.Also what i relzaied that those people who make fun of you and say all these stuff behined your back dont really have an guts to come to and say all of these stuff. And there is a point that they will stop calling you names and making fun of you for something cause they will just get sick and tired of it.Also they whould see that you really dont care what they say to you and they would stop. Tyra i love your show's and am a big fan of you ,your the best love ya lots Tyra.
THANKS TYRA YOUR THE BEST !!!!!
Love Harvani

I work at a law firm and i feel like my attire is awful.. PLEASE help me figure out how to look like a professional and young lady should look. I am so NOT comfortable with the way i look and dress... my teeth are croucket but not badly and my eyebrows barely grow... Hope to hear from you soon...LOVE Stephanie!!!

Hi Tyra,
I love you and your show so much. You are a beautiful person inside and out. One thing I admire about you how you take your flaws and work with them, you go girl!!! Everbody tells me how beautiful i look. The only problem is I dont see that person that everyone else see. I ave this problem with my stretch marks, hair, and my nose, but what I DO LOVE IS MY SMILE. I want to be able to take my flaws and work with them!!!
