I am all about improving myself and helping others around me. I moved to a new city, Charlotte, NC, and need to find a new job and a new look would help inspire me.

Hi Tyra! My name is Kristina Lewis and I am 19 years old. Right now I am a freshman at Wayne State. When i was about 6 years old i was pushed into a T.V. and my front four permanent teeth got knocked straight back into my gum. Since they were my permanent teeth they had to grow again and when they grew completely back they were uneven and yellow. I've had to deal with knowing my teeth look bad for my whole life. I'm very self conscious when it comes to meeting people because of how my teeth look when i smile. My mom is a single mother and she works three jobs and still struggles to pay the bills. My mom knows how it's my dream to get my teeth fixed, but feels so bad that she can't make that a reality for me. I love to smile and laugh and just be a happy person, but when i see people's eyes gaze down at my teeth when they are looking at me it just makes me want to cry. I believe in miracles and if you could help me in someway i do believe that it would be the greatest miracle of my life. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I love you Tyra. :)

Ms. Banks,
I am writing to you not to ask for a makeover for me but for my 12 year old daughter, Cheney. I have a 10 1/2 year old son who is autistic and takes up allot of my time. I know that Cheney tries to understand but I know that it is hard on her sometimes. Cheney is always helping me with my to do list, including taking care of our 4 dogs and 1 foster dog, and also helping me with her brother when she can. She is on honor roll and plays the violin. I would love for her to have a day of being papmpered and be able to meet you. She thinks that you are beautiful inside and out. I know that you get many requests like this and I just want you to know that I appreciate you taking the time to consider this.
Thank you,
Denice

Hey girl,
I think you are great! Very genuine and down to earth. I would love to be made over. I am a 44 year old stay at home mom. My awesome kids are 17, 15, and 11. Education is very important to me, so I put everything I have into my kids. I think my responsibilities as a parent is to raise kids with brains as well as morals. Anyway, I haven't let myself go totally, but I do need help. I am 44 yrs old and I want to love the skin I am in. This "DIVA IN DISGUISE" appreciates the opportunity to be considered for your makeover. Thank you,
Melanie

I am no better than anyone else that wants and needs this makeover, but I need to give it a shot anyway and if I'm chose that would be awesome. I'm 26 and I feel like I'm going on 56. I try to keep myself pretty but, I have a 5 yr. old son and a 1 yr. old daughter, until last year I had worked a fulltime job or 2 since I was 13 years old. I decided last year I wanted to continue my education in hopes to making a better life for myself and my kids. Its hard though, I had to pull them out of daycare because I couldn't afford it anymore, so its hard to get school done and focus on college when my little lovelies are "i want, i want" all day:) lol I feel a makeover could really help me in getting my strength and motivation back to move on and keep doing whats best for us. I lost my late husband in a car accident in 2004, and my daughters father took off the day I found out i was expecting her (which was heaven sent, since he was abusive). My BF Kenny has been by my side for 1 1/2 years now, he is wonderful, but I am just so depressed right now with my health problems and worries that I can't seem to get back up! The devil is winning on bringing me down, Please Help!!! Love Michelle "country-bumpkin from alabama"

Hey Girl,
I think you are great! So full of energy and very down to earth. I would love to have a makeover. I am 44 years old, with 3 awesome kids that are 17, 15, and 11. They all attend catholic school and I am a stay at home mom. I used to own a hair salon, but after my third child, I decided to give it up and stay home with the kids. Education for them is very important to me. I wanted them to be able to say a prayer anytime they wanted, and not just during a world crisis. I think you have to graduate, not only with a brain, but morals as well. Anyway, school is very expensive and I really can't afford to fix myself up right now. I keep myself up okay, but there is PLENTY of room for improvement. I would love the opportunity to be made over. Kind of a once in a lifetime thing. Thanks for giving this "DIVA IN DISGUISE" an opportunity!!!

My husband is a minister, and the problem I have is Sunday clothes. I have outfits, but none of them a really me. I have 2 piece suites,, but no accessories, sometimes my shoes will match to a "T" sometime they will be off a shade. I know how to dress, but I don't have the fasion skills like my mom or my sister. what looks good for me, and what says I am young and professional too?

Hello Tyra!
I just finished watching your show today about weight loss and your aid and assistance in helping two lovely ladies in their quest for better health and smaller jeans. Bravo, thank you for your on going efforts.
As I was viewing your webpage I realized I too have a problem that you may be able to assist me with. I am 53 years old and I have been fortunate enough to meet the love of my life. We are planning on getting married in August of this year. This is a second marriage for both of us, we both have been single for many years. I raised three children by myself that are now model citizens. He spent twenty ish years in New York as an artist, never reaching the financial success he wished for. He came into my life at a very critical time, my mother had been ill for several years and passed away shortly after I met my fiance. After her death I took my vacation from to make arrangements for her funeral from work, and bereavement leave, after the funeral was done I returned home. I was feeling very ill and went to see my doctor, and the doctor took me off work for a month to recover physically. Upon notifying the employer of disability I was terminated from employment, with elgibility for rehire. This whole situation has rocked my self confidence and self esteem as I thought nothing could. I am working through a temporary agency and I have a per diem position at a hospital.
This brings me to the real issue, I have met the love of my life, these events have created a negative cash flow. I would like to be the most beautiful bride possible for our event. We have a venue selected and booked, a dress selected but not yet purchased and a number of incidentals that occur in any wedding situation. I could use your help.
Thank you.

My name is Andrea and I have a daughter that is 14 years old. I have been having a problem with her for years keeping herself clean. She doesn't seem to like to take showers as much as she should and she doesn't like to do her hair even try to look nice. She says that her favorite thing about herself is her looks but I really think she has low self esteem. I have tried everything talking to her, yelling at her, grounding her, doing her makeup and hair for her. I don't know what to do. I thought that maybe if she got a makeover from you, that she would show how beautiful she could be outside to match her inside and keep that up. So if you would please pick my daughter she is a beautiful person inside and I know that you could help her like you have helped so many people. It will not only help her on the outside but it will also give her the self esteem she needs.
thanks,
Andrea

Hey Tyra, Want to let you know how much I appreciate the things you do for people and the way you put yourself out there in the that although "people" who appear to be beautiful and flawless do have the same worries and self esteem issues as the rest of the world! I myself am a single parent of three gorgeous children 16,15, and 13. My 16yr. old and I have been homeless when he was smaller and in and out of shelters. We have lived with people who we would meet at a park and they would take advantage of us for what little we had. Then when my other two came along things started looking up for us. But through the years my smile has worstened. When I was younger and still living at home my father couldn't afford the upkeep on my braces so he removed them in his garage with a pair of plyers. My teeth are crooked discolored and I am missing quite a few. Being homeless and having no insurance I could only afford to have the bad ones pulled and not fixed. My children are getting older and soon to be out of high school. We have never had a family portrait taken because I don't want to ruin the picture by smiling. Tyra it makes me soooo happy when I see other peoples dreams come true! Could you please help me in any way to smile again!!? Lots of Love, Theresa
What's up, Tyra, I love getting haircuts and dying my hair and trying new looks. I can't seem to find a new me on my own and hopefully you can help me find the updated me. I am all about improving myself and helping others around me. I moved to a new city, Charlotte, NC, and need to find a new job and a new look would help inspire me.
I would be proud if you would pick me.

Thank you,
