Hello Tyra! Ive been enjoying your show and the makeovers! Im a 50+ mom, my kids are adults now, Ive always sacrificed my wants so my kids could have things they needed growing up. I neglected myself for so many years,that Im "fashion disabled"! Im now 51 but feel no more than 35 in my heart! Help! Im a disaster!

Hey Tyra,
I first of all want you to know that i think you are great so beautiful and down to earth. I wrote a comment already but it never said if it posted or not so i am writting it again sorry if it got there multiple times cause I kept getting errors. I am writing because I love my mom more than anything and I think it would mean the world to her to get a beautiful makeover. I am 20 and my mom is turning 50 this year and i have only ever seen her get her hair done once. When she was 20 she had stright hair and with each kid (she had 5) it got curlier and less mangeable. For as long as i remember she has had a hard time dealing with her hair and style. She could never afford getting her hair done and buying new clothes with raise 5 kids a close to poverty bugget. She mentions to me now that she wants a new look and i have tried to help her but i need your help tyra. My mom has a hard time spending the money to take care of her self and she deserves it. She has always work to support the family while my dad started his own bussiness well now she has one kid not married at home. plus my sister and her 4 kids in the basement. Hi Tyra! As much as I would like to take this time to put my bid in for a make over, which I really need I, I'm not going to. My mother is a woman that I've always admired. She is the definition of a strong black woman. Having her parents divorce at a early age. Not being able to count on a single hand how many times her mother said I love you because she was one who didn't really so emotion. Having children at a young age, and getting married young. Going through an abusive realtionship and then moving to a different state to get away from all of that. To now having to be a single mother. My brother died in 1993 and I was so amazed at how she held the family together. My mother is so positive and loving. Even when you feel like you just can't go on, she has a way of making you feel like you can conquer the world. Everyone goes to her for advice. I can see however, that life is starting to get the best of her. I'm use to my mother going out and all decked out. SHe really doens't do much, and I think that is due to her not feeling confident about herself. She's gained weight and just really doesn't try anymore. She needs a life over not a make over a life over. This could help give her that push. Even if you don't pick her, pick someone who is deserving of it. My mother is! Thank you!

Hi Tyra! My name is Tamika and i'm 27 years old. I have two boys one is 12 years old and 6 months. Things have changed drastically for me since giving birth to my second child. I breast feed both of my kids but this time around things were totally different. My breast are two different sizes. I've gained a lot of weight and just have no fashion sense anymore. And this is coming from somebody who could walk in the room a demand attetion and heads would turn. I feel much older than 27 and I just don't feel like the life of the party anymore. I find myself covering up a lot and just giving up the things I use to wear and do. But even with all that being said I would like to get the make over done for my mother. She is a wonderful mother. Who after everything that has happened in our lives, she lovs you unconditionally. She lost her oldest son. Me her daughter got pregnant at just 13 years old, when she was 3 months pregnant herself. She had an abusive husband and has been a single mother holding her children down. With all of those hardships she has never let us go with out. She keeps us grounded and motoviated. With out my mother I wouldn't have been as successful as I have been with out her. She's always positive and loving. Everybody in our family goes to her for guidance and advice. Tyra, My Name is LeLani ia am a senior in high school. My mom has told me that this is supose to be the best year of my life!! The thing is i refuse to let it be!! I look at my self in the mirror and i can find so many things i dont like! My mom says ALL THE TIME That i need a new look, ineed a new style, i need to loose weight. First let me say how much i LOVE your show. If anyone deserves a make over, it's my mom. She has raised my sister and I by herself for 16 years. She has no support from my father and we have not seen him for about 16 years. My mom works full time and has done anything and everything for us. Dear Tyra, I realize i'm one in a trillion fans writing on here and I doubt i'll get a chance to be on your show but I thought I would give this a try anyway. My name is Elizabeth and I live in the small town of Eau Claire, WI. My boyfriend and I have been dating for four years now and I would really love to just blow his mind away with a new make-over! He's going to graduate next year to become a cop and I am so proud of him! I turn 21 on May 17th; and ever since I graduated from highschool I feel like i've let my self go. I work full time at a retail store to save up money for college. My closet consists of graphic t-shirts and jeans. I just don't feel pretty anymore at all! My boyfriend always tells me i'm beautiful but for once I would like to take his breath away. To make things worse last year i got adicted to tanning and finally broke away from it, the only problem is i feel like if i'm not tan i'm not pretty. I would love to have a makeover like those done on todays show March 11,2008. Amazing! Yet I can't say I truly deserve one. I have always put my immediate family first, growing up and when I first got married, at least up to 11 yrs ago. Something happened in my family that should never happen to anyone, betrayal, which after that I didn't seem to pride myself in how I look as much as I should. Thank you for this opportunity to express my wish to have a makeover.
