I have a makeover idea, that I have yet to see on your show. Makeovers are a great way to boost self esteem and confidence and can really change someone's attitude, by feeling and looking good, you become a more positive person. Well, there comes a time in most women's lives, when uncontrollably, you gain weight, and become uncomfortable about your body, which can really drag you down...I'm talking about pregnancy!! I am pregnant with my second child, and I have a very hard time shopping for maternity clothes, or dressing for my pregnant body type (I have this issue even when I'm not pregnant hehe). I feel that maybe a show, featuring gorgeous pregnant femmes-showing them how to make their protruding bellies and glow (this is nice for acne lol) be something that we can smile about, rather then feeling....well like a growing blimp? Pregnancy is a time when we should be over joyed and sometimes it is over taken by our outlook on our body image. Hope this interests you!

Hi Tyra, my name is Corrissa, I watched Americas Next top Model, and I really love the show, I am 13, I am a so-so late bloomer, and I really want to be attractive, my hair gets tangled so easily, and my face is filled with so much acne, you can't tell what is freckles, or my cutey mark by my eye, I need help, I weigh so much, and it worries me, everyday I need help, because not only do I think I'm ugly, I am failing in school, and in order for me to not fail in school, I need to look good, can you please help me Tyra? Hi Tyra, let me first start by saying that I truly admire your journey. You are a role model for all women, and all ages. My daughter and I never miss an episode of America's Next Top Model, she even watches the re-runs on VH-1 asthough she has never seen them before. Last year when she turned 10, I gave her an America's Next Top Model birthday party, she will never forget it.

Today I'm writing about my husband. He is self-employeed, takes care of me and our three children. We rectly had to close the doors of our business due to the slumping ecconomy. Being the sole provider for our family, it hurt him to have to close the doors, however he didn't let it derail his dreams and goals. He is the foundation of our family, and we love and care about him so much. The thing is he never really takes any time for himself. He had a strained up-bringing, he was raised by a sigle mother with twevle children, he is the second to the youngest. They didn't have the finer things in life, but he never let that stop him from trying to reach the top. He dropped out of school when he in the 10th grade so that he could help out his mother, she meant the world to him. She was a strong women, and his role model. She unfortunately died from cervical cancer, he took care of her up until her death. I would just love it if he could have a make-over for father's day, he really needs to be wisked off and pampered.
We love hime so much, and I know that a make-over from your Glam Squad, although unexpected it would be so appreciated.

My name is Haley and I'm an 18 year old college freshman. I really need your help. I don't know how to be a girl I guess. I can't do hair or make-up and I wear the same jeans with a random t-shirt everyday. I wish I could look my best for my amazing boyfriend.
Since I started school, I've gained about 20 pounds which has heavily damaged my self-esteem. I just don't know HOW to dress girly probably because most of my friends are guys. I want to feel like a woman for once in my life. Can you please help me?

I see your shows as many times as I can and the best part is I love the way you help so many people in so many ways. I am not sure if u can help me or not but I will atleast try by posting you my couple of problems.

I am 26 years old and I have two problems....I am tired of my overweight and the same old look.

I have gained a lot of weight in past few years and want to loose this excess weight. I need some real motivation and some trainer help to loose this overweight but cannot afford it.

Secondly, I always have this same old look and I am so tired of it. Actually, I always dress comfortably (like jeans and t-shirt) and hair tied back so that I can do my job without distractions of keeping my hairs or dress in a certain way....but can I ever change my look which is a nice different look but still comfortable? I am not sure...and that's where I need your help.

Like you have helped so many other people, I would really appreciate it if you can help me too. Thanks.

I dont want a makeover for me but for my mother. She is the most wonderful woman that you could ever meet. She is so kind an angel is the best term to use. My mother has always put others before herself she never complains. I love my mother she is a strong woman who has experienced many hardships too many to even list and many burdens that could crush a persons heart. And even after experienceing such things she still manages to keep a smile. But Trya i see through it all the time its painful. My mother has never really be one to be fashionable. Hello Tyra, Im 19 yrs old and im overweight I have no sence of fashion what so ever. When I go to the store or any public places im normally wearing pajamas and flipflops. MY-self assteam is in the shitter latley. Every since I moved out of my grandmothers house ive really let my slef go. so worried about rent and other bills and my boyfriend and his son. I have on question,and I hope you answer it for me. As a muslim girl I cover myself, wear absolutely no make-up and I am proud of that because I am being me. I don't need someone telling me that I am ugly or that I am beautiful because the only person who knows me best is myself. A lot of times our society is enfocing ways to look and act in our minds which we are not aware of. Pesonally I feel that way, I know you might or others might disagree on that. That said, my question is to you why does beauty matter??? If it makes you feel good why does it make you feel that why?

Hi Tyra! I love your show! You're so real and talk about issues that matter! I'm 22, married, and have two children under the age of 2. I gained alot of weight with having 2 kids within 2 years. I've also lived my whole life with a dress standard due to religion: no pants, no cutting hair, no makeup,or jewelry. I've went through a majorly difficult change and decided to leave that religion. Now with the weight gain and now being able to wear what I want, I have no idea how to dress myself. I dont know what hair style looks good on me. I'm clueless! HELP!!

I know u get a lot of mail but I just thought I give it a try to e-mail u to tell u about my daughter Passion. Yes her real name is Passion and she is a sweet heart but no ones seems to see her for that now since she has grown up. She's 14 yrs old and has a body like a woman on playboy. I say that beacuse she has a tiny waist, long legs, about 5'9 or so, and wears a 34DD bra. Really she has a nice figure but she really feels unattractive to boys her age because of acne and other puberty issues. I try to tell her she has a lot to offer to someone someday but all she see in herself is the superficial stuffs that does not make her attractive and only atrracts the wrong attention. If ever your doing a show for young girls with womens body but does not feel attractive, Passion the one. She looks like a model to me as she says one day she's going to get on your show ANTM. I hope so but for now she can really use a selfesteem booster.

Dear Tyra, I am a 55 year old black female wife, mother and grandma of 6. I have these dark spots under my eyes that seemed to appear overnight. what can you tell me that would work to lighten them or even remove them. My doctor says that they are from me being a diabetic. But I am sure there is something that can help me feel better about myself with them. Sometimes I dont even want to go out of the house but I have to so I do. I really need your help. Ever since I can remember I have been over weight. And whenever I go in public all I can think is that everyone is talking about me being ugly or fat.
