Hey Tyra,
My name is Tierrah and I'm an aspiring model. Have been since the age of 12, and I just can't let it go. I want this so bad it actually makes me depressed because I'm not living my dream right now. When I turn 18 next year I was thinking of moving to New York but I really don't know where to start. And I have stretch marks but that's not going to hold me back. Please help me a.s.a.p! I'm in need of some advice!!
-Thank you

I was blessed to have such a beautiful daughter that I know she can become a model. She is ten, tall, and gorgeous. Thing is , is that she as Autism, but she is high functioning autism. She is very intelligent and very beautiful. I really just basically want to know is the chance out their for her to become a model with Autism. Can you tell me what I can do or how I can go about doing this for her. I don't want to get scammed. I just want her to have her chance.

Tyra, please help. My daughter and I both respect your opinion and knowledge. She was selected to attend a Pro Scout 'convention', but it costs $695. I don't want to spend the money is it is a scam. I have to put down deposit in two weeks. My daughter is 15 yrs old, 5-10, wears size 2 or 4. She is half caucasion and half hispanic, long curly black hair.

tyra my dream has always been to be a model of course. but lately because of my health I have gained so much weight. I'm size 16. I would want to know where and how can I look for a agency or if you can help me for heavy set modeling. Or better yet bigger models. Doesn't mean I can't right? I am 42 but look younger and my friends still tell me I can do it. I had been approached when I was thinner but now I feel so ugly and fat and maybe this will help me bring my ego and self esteem up. Please help.

hii insperational leader, because thats what you are to me. you inspire young women to do what their minds tell them to do and to follow their hearts its not as easy for us to accomplish these dreams when we do not know where to start i have tryed my hand at getting an agency for modling but the locals always take your money and leave you with just a some what nice picture how is it that you are able to run the fabolous life you live on a daily?? never take what you have worked hard for,for granted and just look in the mirror and tell your self that its al in you.
ill write you again Tyra but i have to get to school
always and forever tiffaine

Dear Tyra,
Both my sister and I, want to model, but every agency we look at is pricey. We can't afford a lot of these agencies. Is there any agencey that would help with our money problem and let us model?

Hello Tyra,
My name is Candice and I have a profile in Modelsmayhem and every since I created a profile I have been receiving offers for jobs. This recent job was from a company called JEFF PANDRA
DIRECTOR PUBLIC RELATIONS
MONISHA JAISING FASHION HOUSE
17 Rue Paul Bert, F-75011 Paris
239a, posue blvd,Dakar, Senegal
www.monishajaising.com
. This website was plain and seem simple. I also googled information about them and just thought is was ok. I agreed to the offer, which was 2500 for the 3 day show and a photo shoot. They were going to pay for everything and pay me 1500 in advance before the show. They sent the money a few days ago but it was not a company check, it was a moneygram money order. Is this okay. Please call me if you can, need some major advise

I'm also into male modeling but to short to do run way witch I love. By me working so much really don't have time to submit my resume and head shots so agecies can see me. All I know is I have to give something up to reach me dream no matter what. I know that's how you made it, and you are me inspireation that's why I love you so much!!!

i have 3 children, the 2 boys ppl are constantly telling me i should try to get them into modeling, my daughter is still a baby. i have had many ppl stop me on the street and ask questions on modeling. do you think it is wrong to puch this on children at a young age and should wait til they get old enough to decide on their own or is it ok to let them model at a young age when they have no say? my boys are 3 and if you think it is ok how do you go about getting to know a legit agency? do you know of any good baby agencies?

Hi Tyra,
I really need your advice, I've been wanting to break into the modeling industry since my teen years but just DON'T KNOW WHERE OR HOW TO START. I live in Houston (which is definitely not a fashion capital)which makes it more difficult. I've tried many of those scout casting calls but it all sounds like a sales pitch and is awfully exspensive! If only I could be advised on atleast WHERE to start...I'll work hard to make it to the top ( I know it's not easy). I'm also a student and don't have hundreds of dollars to up and go to New York or Las Amgelas whenever I hear of scouting calls. A few months back I was accepted into Page parkes Center of modeling but do not have $1300 to attend. I've heard you say you should not pay to meet the agents. SO can you help me please on where to start?! Now I'm in my early 20's (22)and feel asif I'm getting too old for this, but I can't just let a dream defer with out atleast experiencing the business. I really appreiciate all of the advice and in-and-outs you share about the modeling business on your show, that really helps.
P.S. Can you help me?
Thanks.. Luv Ya
Tahjy

Hello, Miss Tyra. How are you? I too have just finished a model expo, NYC Model Expo, with Dewight Agnor. I did not get picked and I am looking for big sister advice. I have been watch America's Next Top Model and taking the great advice that you give to your guess about the way a top should present herself. There where girls there who presented themselves just wrong but I conducted myself as a lady and I got looked over. I am a little confused by that. Unfortantly I am too short to be on your show Im only 5'5". I would grealty appreciate your advice. Thank you for your time.

Hi Tyra,
I just recently finished up at a model expo sponsored by model search nyc. Unfortuantely, I did not receive any calls backs. Is model search nyc legitimate or a scam???

I Just wanted to send a comment saying tha I have been signed to a modeling agency, but i'm not sure if it's legit. I had a photoshoot a few years ago when i was 12-13....now I'm 16 and I haven't had any calls since then...I wish these fake agencies would be banned because people like me who love modeling with a passion should get out there and be with a real agency instead of someone just looking for money. Tyra I plan to go on your talk show to prove to you that I have what it takes to be a mdoel. And then once I've done that..I plan to go on ANTM as well!!! My passion for modeling is overly excessive!!! I'm just looking for an agency!!!!!! Love you Tyra!

Hi Tyra my daughter has been telling me that she wants to be a model. She is only 6 years old and I don't know how to start or what to look for. We had tried to do an agency when she was younger but they were just in it for the money. So I stopped looking. Then recently she has been asking me about being a model. I want to try it again but I don't know where to start. Can you give me some advice on how to start the whole process. Do you know any good child agencies?

Hy Tyra,
My daughter is 7 almost 8 and we went to a ProScout meeting last night (9/25/07) in South Bend, IN and I am trying to do research on this company. Can you tell me if you know anything about them. They claim to be legitimate. Please advise.
