Hi Tyra,
I recently brought my 8 year old daughter to an open call for modeling and acting. She was picked to go to AR to meet with top agencies after paying $695 registration fee. The name of the company is Proscout. Are you familiar with this company? Are they legit?
Thank You

Hello tyra,
My name is Kristin I have been one of the many effected my JEFF PANDRA who claims to be DIRECTOR PUBLIC RELATIONS MONISHA JAISING FASHION HOUSE. I did send out my personal information and made the mistake of not researching before i accepted this offer. Today i recived 3 $500 checks in to the mail and was told to cash the immidiatley and wire the money to a travel agent. I took the checks to the bank to cash ans was told they were fraud. after beggin them not to call the police on me i returned hom to research. The address on the UPS envelope was for and agency that did not even deal with models... A little advice to all you aspiring models out there please don't let this happen to you!

Hello Tyra! My name is Tiffany and i am aspiring to be amodel. I went to a model search in Atlanta,Ga called Model Search nyc and I got in. I was also offered to be a part of a free mothe agency agreement. The problem is I'm not sure if I would like to sign the agreement because fo some of te condiotions. I'm sure you've heard of him before his name is Dwight Agnor. I hear he's very popular in the modeling agency and i would love to sign with him, but I do watch ANTM and I know form listening to you on the show that not all deals are good deals. So i was wondering if possible you could give me some advice about the mother agency and if you think that would be the best way to go, and if not how i could try something different and at the same time i can make sure that it's legit. Other than that i just wanted to let you know that i think you're a very good role model and great help for people trying to be models you're motivation for me because you keep saying you can do it you just have to believe in yourself don't let someone else try to take control or get over on you. I really appreciate that because I would love to model and had it not been for me watching you i probably never mould have pursued it or i might have pursued it the wrong way. Congradulations on everything that you're doing, I hope everything keeps going well for you.
Yours Truly,
Tiffany

Hi Tyra,
How are your, love what you do Tyra, (your show)(ANTM).
My question is; I have a 13 yr old daughter that wants to model and everywhere Ive been (Casablanca)has been too expensive. Well my question for you is just a couple of days I was sitting down pondering after watching one of your shows and I was wondering have you ever had a mother/daughter model.
Alot of people say me and her look exactly alike, but I think Im too old. (36)(size 10)Shes a size 10/12 and the agents say she has long legs to fit a model.
Just a thought Tyra.

Dear Tyra,
Yesterday I went to a casting call at John Casablancas. Bernadette Heyer, a talent director, who said she use to be a model, said I was one of her favorites and that she believed I could go far. I am 5'3 and weigh 110 lbs, so of course I could not do runway but she said I would photograph well and that I would be good for print. I was told to call back today for the first call back and I would need to go in today. But she said I need a coach for 8 weeks then I would be seen by top agencies. But of course there will be finances involved. I have heard you and others say that you should not pay any money and I believe that is true. So is Casablancas a waste of time? Can you give me names of legite agencies please. I am really interested in modeling.
Thank You, Lauryn

Hello Tyra,
I keep pictures of my daughter on my desk where I work. I am a receptionist for an accounting firm in Florida and see alot of clients on a daily basis. I have had so many people tell me that my daughter should be a model. She really is model material but I am so uneasy on how to go about inquiring for her to get her started. She is in college now but has on several occasions mentioned what could she do to find out if she would qualify. When she was 5 years old I took her to Model Search America for the weekend and she did receive even at that young age 2 call backs. One from Ford out of New York and one from Casandra & Bailey out of Florida. But as a single mom trying to raise a child alone I was unable to follow through with their request. I'm not sorry about that due to her young age and I would have felt it was my decision and not hers. If you could provide any helpful information I would be so thankful. I have a current picture of her I could email to maybe get your opinion on what you think of her looks. Thank you for your time,
Sharon

Hi Tyra,
How are you, I been trying to get my 13 yr old daughter in modeling school for the past two yrs. They says shes petite has long legs and she wears a size 10/12 in girls. Most girls her age are wearing grown-up clothes. The probably has been money, everyone of them cost too much.
Anyway, I was watching ANTM few weeks ago, and some how thought of a mother daughter model, because everyone says she and I look so much alike.
Do you think its possible and where can I start with that, if so??

Hi Tyra,
I was just wondering if Dwight Agnor was a rip off. I mean I went to the convention no money was asked at all. Until he got to the part about having professional pictures. You can get your own pictures but they might not be approved but you can get professional pictures done by him for only $395 and they will be approved atomatically cause his photographers are the real deal. So if you don't mind can you let me know what I should do. Thanks a fan always!
