My son Marvin Nickolas Dailey is 8. He is interested in modeling and rapping. He has been prusing his rap career since he was 4 and a modeling career since he was born. He was always picked but the companies wanted alot of money to represent him. He has one single out called "Game Tight" and he is working on several more songs to be recorded. So, he is currently with John Robert Powers International Images Agency. He took head shots for $400 that will last him up to three years. He also has an audition once a month. He has been giving opportunities to audition for one hollywood agent and IPOP, which is an convention that cost $5500 for him and $3500 for me. Then, he has the chance to audition and appear in the magazine "AlmostFamous" this also is a fee. Please help me he has such a sparkle when he gets on stage and he is so funny, but so serious about his career in modeling and rapping. Help! Help! Help! Help! HelP! Should I pay?

Hi Tyra. Im a 15 year old girl,will be 16 in july. Well You are my role Model!!I have been to Model Search NYC. When they can to Greenville South Carolina. I was turned down because of my teeth!! Well At first they told us to come up to them and pull our hair back and smile!! he told me my teeth was the problem!!After I left I cayed the hole way home!! Hi Tyra. I love watching your show. I do daycare in my home and the TV is off during the day...except for naptime, luckily that's when your show is on and I get to watch it. I love how you get into all different kinds of subjects. One day I'll be crying because of something sad that happened and the next day I'm crying because I'm laughing so hard!! Anyway, what I'd like to ask you is if you can give me any tips or contacts on getting my 3 year old son into modeling. I know everyone thinks that their child is beautiful but my little boy is the real deal. We get comments all the time at how beautiful or handsome he is...even from strangers that just see him in the store or wherever. I don'[t know where to start...everywhere I look asks for money. Hey Tyra. I'm a huge fan, i watch your show and ANTM basically everytime I see it on. I'm 12 years old and all I've wanted since I was 8 was to be a model, or actress. I used to have a skin disease and everyone would make fun of me and tell me that I could never make it. [Sounds kinda like Caridee huh? She's my favorite :p] My skin disease is gone, and I still want to model more than anything you could possibly imagine. My mom does try to help, but doesn't put a effort towards it. We've found some sites like ProScout and others but they all want 657 dollars or 144 with 5 payments. But we don't have that kind of money. And it's probably a scam anyways. Please Tyra, you don't understand how much I TRULY want this. E-mail me and tell me what I can do.

It is expensive and I was wondering if it is worthwhile or even necessary to attend a modeling school. i would like more ideas on how to enter the modeling industry.

my name is Anisah Alshiekh and im 17 years old and im 5'8. i have been recently intoduced to this "modeling agency" called John Casablancas. they claim to be affiliated with Elite Model Management. i went to the open casting call and when i went they told me to bring my parents, and a picture of myself. they also said that if i was a "beginner" because i have no prior experience in modeling, that i had to take these classes like twice a month for a price. now once they mentioned money i started to get worried because i've researched and people say that if an agancy asks you for 1 dollar, they aren't legit. so im asking for your expert opinion on this, im really an aspiring model, and i know i have the potential. if it is a scam do you know of any legit modeling agencies in the san diego area?

Hey Tyra i went to go audition for Barbizon and they told me that i did make it. But that i would have to go to Dallas for training. I would also get calls from model search america and they also told me to go and audition at Las Vegas but that i would have to pay three thousand dollars. Is all this a scam Tyra?
