Is the company Proscout legitimate? They have picked my daugher at a Hotel scouting event and want us to pay $795 to attend a convention in Atlanta Georgia to have the chance to meet with up to 40 agents. What do you think?

I took my 4 year old daughter to a ProScout interview and she was accepted to go to a weekend in my city where ProScout flys in many agencies, acting and modleing. They want 800.00 for her to go to this weekend. Do I pay it, has anyone ever gone through ProScout? Are they legit and is it worth it?

Ive never shared any thought about this with my parents or anyone im embarassed,i recently found out my little ten year old sister wants to be a actress she likes watching tv alot i always hear her talking to herself and playing different roles and she says she would love to meet hannah montana.She wants to be in the shows on the disney chanel like zoey 101 or something we dont really have any support from my parents i want my little sister to at least make it big or do something that she wants to do...following her dreams i sign her up for JOHN CASABLANCA but i heard its a scam is there any help you can help me or my sister

Ok I have been on the models.com website and did the research on there. My tips for people who go to the site. Just look up modeling agencies and post ur free portfolio, but Please do not go to the forums. They claim to be professional but the people (or models I should say) there in the forums are very rude. Just a fair warning.

I love both of your shows. My question is about child modeling. I have a 7month old and I'm interested in possibly print ads for her. Is the process the same as adult models? Any suggestions? Should I just call Ford Models etc?

Hi Tyra! I've always wanted to be a model...but I'm a little self-conscious and afraid. I was offered a job and I turned it down because it didn't seem legit. I don't have an agent and I've never done any professional modeling...but it is something I love. And now I know where to look to find out if it's legit or not! Thank you!!
