The Hottest Cut for All Women - and How to Work It!

Think Like A GuyTyra’s Stylist Neeko Says:

Ladies, I am about to give you all of the information necessary so you can achieve my signature haircut! This is the cut I gave Tyra, and it’s the most consumer friendly haircut that works for all women with mid-length to long hair. The big secret is in the layers…long layers. Long layers allow for the most versatility when it comes to styling. It works on models, the runway, photo shoots, in the office and other everyday situations. The length of the layers allows you to put half of your hair up, wear it all down or put all up! The layers are long enough to pull into a pony tail or pull pieces out along the hairline for a softer look. Another advantage of this look is that is looks totally different on everybody.

Styling this look is easy. It works straight, curly with the ends flipped up, curled under, blown out with a round brush, I could go on all day! When I flat iron Tyra’s hair, I use a styling spritz by the hair care line Avlon on each section of hair before straightening to keep the hold. This will keep your style straight and fights humidity. The same spritz can also be used if you curl layers. Use a big curling iron to get great bouncy and light curls. An amazing finishing product for curly or straight looks is Kerastase Nutritive Lumiere Nutri-Sculpt. Place a small amount in your palm and emulsify (warm up) with your hands. Apply section by section. This product fights flyaways, controls frizz and gives your style definition if your hair is really messy. It’s a light product, so hair will still swing. For heavier, course, relaxed or multicultural straightened hair, the ultimate finish can be achieved with Cream Hair Dress by Avlon.
