Finally, a Bra that Fits!
80% of women wear the wrong size bra so, grab a measuring tape and follow these steps to learn your measurements.
- Band Size: place your measuring tape just below your breasts and around your body. Once you have determined that measurement, add five to that number. If you get an odd number, round up. That new total represents your band size.
- Cup Size: place the measure tape across the fullest part of your bust and around your body. Don’t pull the tape tight, leave it a little loose across your breasts. Subtract this number from the Band Size figure. The difference determines your cup size as follows: Less than 1 inch = AA, 1" = A, 2" = B, 3" = C, 4" = D, 5" = E or DD, 6" = F or DDD, etc.

I've been measured and was told I was a 36DD. I have measured my self at 36 band and 44 cup and got 40 B to 40 D the problem is the 40 band is way to loose and dosen't support me the fact that a size D cup only cover's half a boob leaves me to question these measuring techniques. Where is a bra specialist?

hey,
i just did the measuring thing that was up there, and it says im a 34B, but thats what size bra i have right now, and it doesn't fit. my chest is to big for it, and you can tell, because if you run your hand over the edge of the bra, you can feel that my chest is to big. what should i do???

okay I did this and it says I should wear a 42B but I weight 170 so how is that even possible? Isn't the 40s for plus-sized women?
I currently wear a 36C

Hi Tyra I was wondering if you could tell me where that sports bra you were wearing on the show that day came from. I live in Canada and I am forever looking for a bra that gives great support. Let me know where I can get it.
Thanks C

The funniest thing is that everyone seems to think that cup sizes stop at J or K....I am 25 years old and I am not even sure what size I am because it may be something along the lines of a 38N-O-P and I am only 5'3"!!!! I am stuffing myself into a 40L (because I can not afford a true custom made bra) and my upper back is killing me!!! And the bras that I can afford and are available are ugly, non supportive, and have no matching undies. I love fashion...is it too much to ask for something pretty?

Wow its so nice to hear there are so many other women out there with my problem, I honestly felt like the only one. Im 5'6'', 135 lbs and I wear a size 34E (i think, it doesnt fit, its too small). I swear it is impossible to find the right size. I too have been professional fitted and told to try an 34DD HA WAY too small!!!! I did find a great sight though, its called figleaves.org and they have awesome bras and lingery for DD+. But Tyra should really do a show about the stuggles for petit girls with extremely large breasts.
