Reality On The Runway

Wherever we turn we see beautiful women walking the runway, gracing the pages of trendy magazines and peddling the latest trends in TV ads. But the reality is that the modeling industry is often intense, and women are expected to be stick thin in order to succeed. Do super skinny models make you feel bad about your body?

Please highlight the on going health problems after a prolonged battle with an eating disorder.

Please show the "unmade up" deteriated body that reflects the untold, unglamouros, life threatening effects...

Too often, models are still portrayed in an upscale, admirable angle.

For most people with an eating disorder, they are living in hope of acheving the dreams as proetrayed. They do not relize that in reality, those "dreams" can kill them before they reach the unattainable, body image they want...
The body will, bit by bit, eat away at itself to sustain life.

The denied nutrients will come from the bones, heart muscle, organs etc. The hair, the teeth, the skin, the overall health will, cell by cell, digest itself.
The starved brain will never be satisfied no matter how much weight loss occurs...

EATING DISORDERS ARE NOT GLAMOUROUS...

Please let one of the next top "models" be a true anorxic.

My guess is that it will open the eyes not only to models, but to every person innocently struggling with what they "THINK" is imperfection.

After a slap in the face with reality, I promise you that many people will be grateful for what they have....

Please portray the truth as a service to life, the community, and to the person in line as the next "TOP MODEL"...

You will blow the doors off of every talk show and create a "MEDIA FRENZY",,,

Thank You

Janice Dickenson scares me though. But unfortunately almost everyone is fat in america inso no one really realizes that 60 years ago, woman could have 6 kids, be todays size 0 and still be healthy. wether many dont want to believe it. If the runway models make you feel bad about yourself, be good to yourself and close the magazine or turn off the t.v.

Funny show and fun to watch. Janice Dickinson is quite the character. LOVED how she almost tackled the doc....he was a good sport about it. Lots of energy in the show! Ooooo....and good luck to the girl from the audience. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
