Is Your Mom Too Outrageous?

Does your mom wear short skirts, low-cut tops and high heels? Does she party too much? You're not alone. On "Help My Outrageous Mom," Dr. Keith met three girls who were embarrassed by the way their mothers dressed and behaved. He helped these moms take the first step toward changing their provocative ways by giving them a complete makeover. Do you wish your mom would change her wild ways?

I WATCHED YOUR SHOW TODAY ABOUT OUTRAGEOUS MOMS. YOUR FIRST MOM DEIDRE HAD AN AMAZING TRANSFORMATION. SHE NOT ONLY LOOKED BEAUTIFUL
BUT SHE ACTED LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON. MORE SUBDUED AND CLASSY AND YES EVEN SEXY! GOOD JOB GUYS! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER BACK ON THE SHOW IN A FEW MONTHS TO HEAR ABOUT THE RESPONSE FROM MEN WITH HER NEW LOOK.

I watch your show this morning with no sound. I saw without listening that these women are self-centered and possiable drugs and alcohol users especially the first two. To show such disregard to your child in this manner is very sad. All three need outside help with their self esteem.

I can understand the physical makeover part, it's a nice dress-up episode for mom as a treat which is so wonderful.

However, My Big Fat Tirade of Questions are: has anyone ever considered that, when a woman becomes a mother/ wife their life/identity most of her life is devoted to being just that?

When her job is done, she probably don't know what to do with herself after not being able to 'cut loose' and express herself fully for a long time, what's to be expected? It's almost like a parent overprotecting a kid for a long time and once that kid grows up, they go kind of 'wild'. Has anyone 'called it out' on the dads?

It's as if a woman has to be 'corralled' in a certain way to keep up society's nuerotic perception of what a woman or a mom 'should' be or 'look' like; let the individual woman make that choice on her own.

What makes it 'wrong' for a woman to make a strong statement about her sexuality when men do it and are applauded for it?

What's the reason for going so far back in order to understand why the mothers dressed that way?

They probably forgot how to dress according to how they feel on the inside and just ran towards the first thing that gravitated them.

It's hard for a woman to listen to her inner self when others are shouting neurotic needs in various forms.

This country's got it BAD with projecting labels and unhealthy perceptions on people, especially towards women; this madness must stop in all forms.

People should just live and let others live.

And those young people on the show do not have the right to dictate how their parents should dress and act; it should be the opposite. Offering suggestions are fine, but I guess it's all about pleasing others and denying one's own needs; sick!

That's also the nasty byproduct of marrying and/or bringing children in the world before one's really aware and ready.

I'm glad that I'm unmarried and childless! I guess I'm the type of woman who just doesn't like to be told what to do.

my mom is a sexy mom and and a good mom at home but when she go to the partys and to the bar o my god she put it on . i want to find my mom a husband so she can be happy . can u help me dr, keith god bless alexis

Just wanted to send a message along to you. I didn't like your show at first but I stuck with it. Now, after watching this episode of the outrageous Moms, you've won me over. You didn't just give them a make-over and send them on their way. You didn't give them a trip to Hollywood and an all paid wardrobe compliments of the show. You showed them what the change could feel like AND got to the root of the WHY they were dressing that way. Plus, you repeatedly stated how BEAUTIFUL they were giving them what they NEEDED to hear from this transformation. Good job, Dr Ablow! I will now continue to watch you because you are talented NOT because there's just nothing better to tune to. Thank you, Erin

It is mind boggling that the 'red hot' mothers on the show today haven't had any reality checks (apparently, for their entire lives.)

If you want to be a 'ho', fine, don't have kids. Never, never, never expose children or young adult children to your parasitic, lower than low class lifestyles.

Regarding the woman with the $10,000 breasts -- I have large breasts (40 DD), but they are natural. As a mother, grandmother and former high school teacher, I have always dressed appropriately. My figure is part of who I am, but has caused issues all my life with men. Our lady of breast enhancement is as ugly as a gargoyle --what could she be thinking?

I enjoy your show. I have been watching the outrageous mom show today and have a few thoughts. I think most of these women need more than just a makeover. They seem to have ubderlying issues about something. I'm no Dr. but I think they have issues with aging. Renee esp. She keeps saying she is too close to death to not have fun. These "ladies" need to learn what it's about to be a real woman and that sexy can be classy, it doesn't have to be trashy. Thank you

What a miraculous difference a stylist can do. I felt for the daughters on the show and could totally understand how they'd feel embarrassed. I cringed in embarrassment for them too. Hopefully the show was enough to help the beautiful Moms reconsider what sort of attention they were getting from dressing that way and they gain more confidence in themselves.

Loved the hair makeover on the first guest btw. She certainly carried the new look well and acted like a different person. It's amazing how something as simple as what you wear can alter your whole personality.

The woman with implants was not beautiful she was in fact a fat ugly slob. No man looks at her in a sexy way they might look at her in disgust.

And her dress and behavior is child abuse.
