I saw your show today where the young couple is struggling with their marriage after the husband came back from war and has PTSD. You hit it on the head why he doesn't want to go see a psychiatrist because they will make him re-live all those horrible memories and go through immense pain.
That's conventional psychiatry and it doesn't have a good track record for curing PTSD as demonstrated by Vietnam-era vets who have gone through years and years of therapy with little to no relief. There IS a relatively new method that can help WITHOUT causing pain. It's called EFT (emotional freedom technique) and it is a meridian based technique that works.
I am in no way associated with it, I just acquired that info and I've used it personally, it works. It was developed by Gary Craig and he wants the world to benefit from this. One of the dvd's has a whole section on him visiting Vietnam vets at the VA and helping them get over their PTSD painlessly and effortlessly.
Please, I beg you to pass this on to that couple and anyone who needs it. It hurts me to see people hurting and suffering needlessly. I gain no monetary benefit from this, I just want to help. Please, at least look into it.
