I watched your show on 9/16/06 and my heart went out to the young lady who lost her mother and now has a step-family. I know how she feels to a degree. I came from a broken home and my father remarried 8 months after the divorce was finalized. I was totally heartbroken because there was no time for me to deal with the drastic change in my life. I went from a family that never got along, to a broken home, and the two new additions to the so called family. The stepmother needs to step back and look at the situation as if she was in the young ladies shoes then maybe she could understand and see why things are on shakey grounds. If she could stop thinking about herself and think about how the young lady feels then things could take a really good turn for all of them and they could have a joined family!

I am 59 years young and have not had any kind of relationship, since I lost my finace 10 years ago. I have tried online dating with not luck. I have only met one person face to face in the year that I have been online and he found somone else.
I would like to find out what my problem is.

Self-esteem issues....oh dear! What woman doesn't deal with these at some level? With age comes wisdom, and although physical beauty may dwindle a little....the real beauty inside will show when we learn to accept the beauty within....the beauty that comes from a loving heart, and a true smile....not a size 2 figure, or a perfect complexion. True beauty doesn't decrease with age.....it becomes only more radient. We have to hold on to this and be proud of what God gave us.
Kess (Left by Daddy at a young age too....and have used food as a distraction in one way or another as long as I can remember)
