Tyra,
I hope that you get this, I don't really have a whole lot to say, but I just love you and your show, but mostly you!
You are such a strong, gorgeous woman who isn't afraid to be herself. Thank you for everything, everything, everything you do.
You are wonderful.
Tyra.
You are such an inspiration. A true definition of a strong, black, and determined woman. Please continue to do all that you do and may God continue to bless you.
I love you.
Hey Tyra,
I so hype I'm writing you right now. Well i started my own youth organization named For Young Individuals FYI10304. Youth run to help educate the communtiy on issues teens are facing now a days and stressing the importance of giving back. We are running based on the "Pay it Forward" concept (ex. Tyra does nice for Chanel, Chanel does nice for Dawn and so on). I also want to give scholarships to press the importance on education. Did i mention I'm a Peer Educator (Sex and Health educator) for 5 years and a Peer Mediator for 4 years. I thought it would be really nice because i know that your interested as things like these. I'm 18 years old a freshmen at Medgar Evers C.U.N.Y. College in Brooklyn. I really love my community even though it has a lot of flaws (Stapleton in S.I.) . I love you a lot, you remind me of me so much and to top it off the relationship I have with my MOM is just like yours. I identify with you so much and I'm happy I can have someone as such as yourself to look up to.
Tyra, love your show and think you are doing wonderful things for woman and young girls. One thing I wish you'd STOP doing is announcing that you're going to tear up when there is never a tear in your eye. I love that you are real for the most part and honest about your mistakes and insecurities, but sometimes I think you overdo it when you keep announcing "I am tearing up too" and I never see a tear. Other than that, you are doing a fabulous job and continued success with your awesome and inspiring show.
I really love your shows. I have always liked you since I was a teenager. I used to go around saying I was a Tyra look-a- like though I was far from it. He.. He... Being in Singapore, you being so far away is disappointing.I wish I could visit your studio and meet up with you. I am now a mother of 3 and the show with jared weiss did have an impact on me.I always complained I had no time to exercise but now I try to incorporate it into my routine. Just wanna let you know that you impact lives beyond America. Lova ya and keep up the good work!
Hello Tyra,
I watch and enjoy your show all the time however my husband and I were grossly horrified when you asked Barack Obama for a favor. We thought you were gonna ask for something with some substance like coming to talk to some children and inspiring them so that they don't have to join gangs or drop out of school, computers donated for some underprivalged children that you may know or work with, or even to attend your wedding whenever you finally get married. But to ask him if you and "yo mama" could have a slumber party in the Lincoln Bedroom???!!! You just sealed the nail in our coffins! Did you ask Hillary Clinton the same foolishness? (I'm sorry after the Obama fiasco, I just couldn't watch the show anymore). Don't you know they already have jokes out there about how now the White House dinners will be Collard Greens and Fried Chicken amongst other stereotypical things being said if we ever have a black president??? We were all talking about it in our office the next day (we do work)and the consensus was it was very disappointing.
Hey Tyra I really admire you alot, you are a very talented women.Tyra I watch top model all the time and wish that one day I will be on there,Iknow that i have what it takes to be ANTM.You help me keep hope alive because your a strong, independent, beautiful black women and that what i wont to be when I reach your age.love you always,Tierra

Anyway, I have ratted out fast food places for serving food on the floor and would lose my job, i'd rat out casinos in vegas i'd worked years back for cheating players on dice tables, and once on my show a black gentleman claimed he was called the "n" word at a bar a block from where i lived when i was in new orleans; and the result was my front door was set on fire and a death threat left at my door with negitive comments written on it about blacks and my being Jewish. Tyra....I alwayz watch your show when i'm home. And i really love lisening to the inspiring words that you sometimes give a teen like me. Tyra I LOVE and ADMIRE you so very much. And i have a idea for a perfect show. Maybe you should do a show on "Teenage Pregancy" I mean it's a topic that we talk about and see so much in school. Trust me try, i'm a teenager whos only 15 and whos 4 months preganet. And I thought since so many of my friends from shcool watch your show, maybe my friends and other girls can think about "teenage pregancy" and take it serious. I really do think you sould do a show like that. Trust me it would be great. I mean i would watch. Well, i love you tyra.
Love Always,

Dearest Tyra,
The one thing I have respected about you from day #1: Your honesty and integrity. If you mess up you are not afraid to put it out there and own it as "Dr Phil" says.
I loved your show today. My daughter and myself love taking pictures. I love taking them of her. I also researched your information on modeling and you mentioned on one of your other blogs about making dreams come true.
I have a beautiful 16 year old daughter who is 6'3". Of course I think she is stunning "and I know I am partial". She struggles and always has with being the tallest girl in her class since K4 and still to this day. She is athletic, she plays golf, basketball, and has played volleyball. I have heard you speak so often of being tall and not feeling as though you fit in and I know she struggles with this as well due to her height which is very intimidating for guys her own age who may never catch up to her. She also has a physical disability she suffered at the tender age of 3 years old. She had an accident with a pair of scissors and was blinded in one eye. She wears a prosthesis in her eye it is like a shell that forms her whole eye. She has a wonderful Doctor that keeps her eye fitted from year to year. People who do not know her can not even tell it but of course she knows and no matter what I say "I'm Mama", and I love her and would think she is beautiful and encourage her to be the best person she can be no matter what.
She admires you so much "even did a picture comparison on line and her features favored "you and Beyonce" quite a compliment since I think you are both the most beautiful women in the world!!! I would love to have her meet you and she loves modeling and swears she has your "signature strut" I call it a strut because you walk so tall and proud and "fierce". She does know how to "work it" and she is a great student and a wonderful, beautiful young woman and I never cease to let her know how proud of her I am and will continue to be forever "no matter what"!
She did get the opportunity to go to New York with her Aunt during fleet week but it was before you moved your studio. I will never be able to afford to bring her there. She wants to model but she is so self conscience about her eye she keeps saying she could never model because of her eye. Since the photo show today I know the miracles of touch up. I have been trying to talk her into trying out for "America's Next Top Model" when she is old enough but she keeps saying the same thing. "I would never make it because of my eye". My dream would be for her to meet you and have her pictures made and let her be "a model for a day"! Everyone is always telling her she needs to be a model. Perfect strangers in the super market. But I just can't see her ever being discovered where we are and I want to try and make her dream come true just to let her know she is good enough no matter "what", and that "Dreams Can Come True"!
Thanks for your time Tyra and we will forever love and admire you!

Hey tyra i have a quick suggestion. Since your show will be set in NYC. i was wondering if you could have the cast of TLC's "A Model Life" with Petra Nemkova on your show i think it would be GREAT. These girls are so gorgeous and it would be great to have them talk to you. i think it would be a great experience for them to share their experiences on the show.
Hi Tyra!
My name is Kellie and i am 15 years old from california. I love the tyra show and your show america's next top model. I would LOVE to be a model one day but i can never seem to work off a little bit of extra weight! Also, since my family is going through really tough times right now financially, I can't fix my ugly crooked teeth! I would love it if you could give me some tips on how to shed some extra pounds and help get me through these rough times.
Hey Tyra, I just got the newsletter about this week's shows that are coming on. They are going to be hard ones for me to watch as I have struggled with my weight since i was 11 and had an eating disorder since i was 13. I was anorexic and bulimic. I still have a lot of problems with it. I have been in and out of recovery. My mom started the whole thing when she started telling me i was fat when i was 11. I did not start restrcting and/or purging until i was 13 though. the only time in my life when my mom did not say that iw as fat or needed ot lose weight was when i was 5'10 and weighed about 120 pounds and was purging up to 8 times a day and only consuming about 300 calories. i had no color in my face, my hair was so thin because it was falling out, i lost my period for about 10 months, and i began to have trouble breathing. my senior year one of my bestfriends died in a car wreck on new years eve so i decided that it was not worth killing myself just to be thin when something liek this could happen to anyone. however, the next november when i was away at school i was raped. i felt so gross and ashamed and so i turned back to my good friend ed. i realized the dark path i was returning to and got help again. i had ignored the fact that i was raped and that it ws the most traumatizing experience of my life because i just numbed myself with my eating disorder. so once i started having to deal with it in thearpy, it was the hardest thing i ever had to go through. i was a virgin before he reaped me and he took away a part of me that i will never get back. its hard and it hurts so badly still. when i got home from school in june i was not throwing up anymore again. but then my mom told me how fat i had gotten and how all my friends are so much skinnier and prettier than me so i lost it and went back to my eating disorder again. i am going to get help when i get back to school on wednesday, but i just wanted to tell you that i really appreciate you doing these shows. i know they will be hard for me to watch, but they will help me to see that i am not alone and the dangers of eating disorders. i know that what i am doing is dangerous, i have been dealing with it for 7 yrs, but sometimes i just don't care. anyways, you are such an inspiration to me and i really look up to you. thank you for all that you do. i love you.
love,sara
Hi Tyra my name is Simone and im 13 and i live in north carolina and am raised by a single mother i would love for u to give her a tyra makeover. she is stuck in the past and on her weight. We are stuck in a bit of a finacual ditch and i think even though were in this ditch she still tries to do everything on me and she doesnt spend any time or money on her self. my father and her are divoreced and he lives in maryland. Me and him have a good relashonship and he pays little child support and refuses to pay for any of my extra expenses for example school shopping. My mother is a great person and i think for once she should have a day that she can realize that and also how much i love. She does so much for me so i want to return the faver i absoulutly love your show and americas next top model. I watch your show everyday i can. I love u and i would love to attend your show to be in the adience but i not old enough. I wish i could though i will watch your show and support u all the way and i will wish i could be on the show untill i actually can. I also think you should have Cierra on your show consurning the recent rumers about her being born as a man. I am your number 1 fan and you are my number 1 role model and i will support all the way thru your carrer no madder what u do. Continue to do what your doing and the show is great.
tyra,
i am 14 years old and i watched a rerun of ur show last nite (august 8th) and was appalled by what the phelps family had to say about gays. i am a strong believer in god and i believe strongly in my faith, but i do not hate on gays/lesbians/bis like the phelps family did. i was in complete shock when she called the victims of 9/11 queers/gays/perverts/god haters. 9/11 was a big day in america and we mourn in all the time, she had no right to label those people she did not know! my uncle is a NYFD who was on duty on 9/11 and helped out on the scene that day and i took a big hurt when she said those things. i think she needs to be taught some lessons. i prayed for her and i hope she learns to tone herself down and think before she speaks, because she HURT a lot of people.
tyra, i am a recently retired retail manager,i was so upset one day that i called my daughter to complain the topic: why are black women so mean to each other? we actually turn our heads when walking towards each other so that we would not have to speak. i always went out of my way to be nice to my sisters in my business and to make sure that they got the best selections for the best price (i managed fine jewelry). but this attitude just amazes me. my daughter told me that you had addressed this so i started watching your show. WOW! i am in heaven you are awesome and so very real. i am a fan and watch out i will be e-mailing you often i have a lot of issues and questions that now that i am living a different life that i would like addressed. but first i would like to say "look at me sister, i would like to say hi"
Hi Tyra! My name is Takia but everybody calls me Kia. I'm 18 years old and I'm from the BRONX. I'm down with a group of 12 young beautiful ladies who we call ourselves LADY $ET. I think that you should bring Omarion, Chris Brown or Ciara to your show. If you do decide to bring 1 of them to your show please let me be on it because I really think that I could beat anyone of them in dancing. I think it would be cool & fun thing to see if I do. Some of my family members said "yeah Kia you could beat them and some of them said your buggin Kia." So I would like 2 prove that I could beat them. Thank You!

Thank You!
